I don’t think I have ever been first on board before but I was this morning, and was actually at my room by 11 AM.

 

I will pass over night night in an indifferent Sheraton four points hotel in Fort Lauderdale and start with the cruise report.

I was met by three familiar crew members, great to see them.  One is Jaz, an experienced Activities Host, known from past cruises.

 

please ask any questions and I will attempt to find answers as the week goes on.

Following...we will be on her in a few months. What category of cabin are you in and are you happy with the furnishing inside and outside [if you are in a balcony cabin] ?

Looking forward to following along.  INFINITY is on my short list for an upcoming cruise.  I sailed on her almost 20 years ago on a cruise to Hawaii and it was a great trip.  Generally I love the M-Class ships and have sailed on all four. 
 

I’m mainly interested in how she is holding up, and that the a/c issues have been resolved which I think they have.

Following along. We are booked for April 2023 and were slightly concerned to hear about some of the teething issues following her restart. Looks like a lot of them have been worked out, but will look forward to hear your thoughts.

My A/C is working just fine.  Room is spotless.  The decor is the older style but that is ok by me.  I give the room an A.

How is the service in the dining room?  Are they still short staffed.  How many passengers on your sailing?

We board August 6th and appreciate you taking time to share your vacation.  We will be following along.  Of interest will be the quality of food in the main dining room.

The only complaint I have right now is that the Wi-Fi system is very clunky in terms of how you connect to it. Here are the instructions and notice number six telling you to repeat two or three times, it took me four times to get a connection

I agree it took us several times to connect. I am glad the ship is in better shape. Have a great cruise.

Thank you!!!!!!  We have sailed with many of these super stars before!!  I know we are in good hands!!!

I’m on this sailing, we just boarded so we haven’t experienced much of the dining service yet.  I wanted to report I’m in an aft deck 11 AQ and AC has been working great.  The ship and the stateroom are better condition than I thought.  Some finishes may be outdated but generally things are clean with minimal signs of wear.  I’ll happily share thoughts if my opinion changes throughout the sailing.  About to sail away!

Good to know!  We will be aft on 11 too!!  Have a great cruise!!
