Recommendation for a beach in Curacao and Aruba

Can anyone recommend a good beach in Curacao and Aruba for a family?

Very subjective.

We like the following:

Curacao: Lions Dive at Mambo Beach, 2nd choice: Porto Mari.

Aruba: Baby Beach

Eagle Beach is popular in Aruba.

What are you looking for?  Food and beverages, ease of access, safety, white sand, calm blue water?

Favourite is Palm Beach in Aruba (very similar to Eagle, but it has more hotels, restaurants, and facilities).

Right now in Curaçao, I would recommend Mambo Beach.  We were there last week and went to Grote Knip.  It was gorgeous, but we got many stings (likely jellyfish).  We looked online afterwards and they say that Curaçao is currently having its worst wave of Portuguese man-of-war that it has ever seen.  Possibly that is what got us.  Mambo is much more protected.

Yes, I agree Mambo number 5.  We aren’t in love with Aruba, so we never make it to a beach. (Too much wind every time we’ve been there)

We were there last week.  We rented a 4-seat UTV to explore the island.  Absolutely the best way to see the island.  We stopped and swam at a couple of beaches and if you have not seen the beauty of the desert side of the island (East side), you are missing out.

If you like to snorkel, we've had a great time at Blue Bay Beach in Curacao.  Unfortunately, we see any ship excursions there have gone way up in price.   In Aruba, we plan to go to eagle beach close to port; it's public.  Not sure how the snorkel is there though.

We plan to go to Cas Abao beach in Curacao in December when we're there.  We've never been, but looks like good snorkel and the ship excursion there is affordable [unlike to Blue Bay beach now; bummer].   We really liked and would prefer Blue Bay beach.

Only have been to Aruba

Palm - beautiful. However, this is more of a hotel beach than a public beach.

Eagle - very similar to Palm. On the same coast. More of a public beach. I would absolutely check it out

Baby - another great public beach option. Superior for snorkeling.

We love the Renaissance resort near the cruise pier in Curacao. It's a very short walk from the pier. The "beach" is actually an infinity pool but you wouldn't know it was a pool. There is a very nice, sand beach. There are palapas along with chairs and loungers that are first come, first served. There is a bar and restaurant. I think we paid $25 for the day pass and that included full access to the facilities.

You can also consider Arashi Beach in Aruba... you can take the public bus (same one that goes to Eagle and Palm, it ends at Arashi.  You can rental chairs/umbrella there and there is a beach bar that serves decent food.  Roped swimming area.

We went to Kenapa Grandi in Curacao (teens enjoyed jumping of the small cliff there), but Mambo probably a good option with younger kids.
