Not sure why you would do that - you would not be getting four additional vouchers that day.

Of course you would.

The first 5 would be credited to the folio of the first leg. As soon as boarding begins for the second leg, a new folio is created, with 5 more vouchers for the day.

My spouse and I are both Diamond members.  If my spouse is not going to use all four of her drinks on a given day and I have her permission to use one of them, can I use it without her being with me or would she still need to order it?  I wasn't sure whether the bar staff needs her card to apply the voucher, or if her drink can be deducted through my card (or through our cabin number).

I had no trouble using my wife's vouchers.  I did it both in the Casino and the Bamboo Room.  The bartenders can easily see it on their screen.

I use the majority of our 8 vouchers. I usually have her card when I order but you won't have a problem no matter what.

I've had issues before.  Probably because we often have different cabins. Now she 'buys' me a few drinks before going to bed 😉

Yeah I could see different cabins being a hair in the biscuit. I imagine when they look on the computer they would be looking at your specific cabin.  Is there a way to link them in such a way that would overcome this?

Oh they're linked.  Laura can see my purchases but I can't see hers🤣

Uh... How does that work?  Does that mean she could use your vouchers but you couldn't use hers.  I'd be trying to reverse asap... 🙂

Maybe a silly question, so please excuse me on this. We just became Diamond on our last cruise so our Jan cruise we will get the benefits. I understand the 4 drinks per day, but I am puzzled by the 'voucher' expression. Are the 4 drinks per day loaded on our sea pass card and all we do is give the card when we want to get a drink, or do we physically have vouchers that we have to hand in when getting a drink?

Also, we are really not big drinkers. In fact, we are more like 'tiny' drinkers, maybe getting one or two a day, at the most. So, what are our other options. We do not buy the soft drink package, but my DW can get a coke or something like that with a voucher? What else can we get instead of an alcoholic drink--coffee?

Again, thanks for all the help with this.

Cheers

Len

Yes, they're just loaded onto your card. Consider them digital vouchers.

You can use them for just about any non-alcoholic drink on the ship... soda, fancy coffee, smoothie if there's a Vitality Cafe, bottled water, fresh squeezed OJ, virgin drinks (my young nieces became virgin daiquiri addicts on our last family cruise), etc.

Your CAS HH drinks loaded on your Seapass card will also be subtracted in the DL. No matter the venue and if you don't want to use your CAS drinks that are loaded on your Seapass card, make sure to advise the server of that.

OK.  I will have maybe one alcoholic drink max per day, and my husband doesn''t drink at all.  He will definitely go for the special coffee drinks with the vouchers.  Can any one give the size of the bottled water that is included on the voucher?

PS We are still fun even tho we don't drink too much LOL

Just be aware you can get unlimited cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, etc. from the self-serve machine in the Diamond Lounge without using vouchers. Only use them if you want something fancier or iced.

Bottled water should be standard 16.9 oz.

As of last Saturday, they went back to having to print out a receipt and have you sign for each drink. Saturday was in the middle of our cruise, so we were still in the old system, but supposedly across the fleet, if you embark today or later, you'll have to sign now.

Thank you for this info.  We turned Diamond several years ago, but haven't cruised since--so this will be our first sailing as Diamond members--catching up on the perks.

My daughter has gotten 2-3 alcoholic drinks a day this week, and has been presented with a receipt to sign only once - on the pool deck.  Never in the MDR.

It'll probably take a little time to implement across the fleet. We heard about it first from several bartenders. Another diamond showed me the email that she received, but neither my husband or I got an email about it. We got off a ship yesterday and didn't sign for anything all week.
