Last minute decided to do a live review from Allure of the Seas Oct 1 sailing to Labadee, Aruba, and Curaçao! 
 

Just bought the internet today. Feel free to ask me questions and I will answer to the best of my ability 

 

I am cruising with my best friend in an ocean view on deck 3.

We are in Labadee this morning! Spent a late night at the pub so I am having a hard time waking up! 
 

I did win some money in the casino tonight so now I can afford a few Labadoozies! 😂

I did hear that a diver is injured (I think a slight injury but not positive) from diving  last night and they will not be doing the aqua show until day 5 

 

I know this show gets cancelled a lot due to weather and such so make sure you see the earliest showing possible so you don't miss it!

How fun! I do plan on going to the love and marriage show, I am sure I will see them there! 
 

I'll be posting more pictures of Labadee tonight whenever I am back on Voom, using my T-Mobile international data now so it's only like 2G speeds 

 

A little background on this trip...I booked this about 3 weeks ago, a casino comp and I got 150 obc so I couldn't pass it up. Sailing with my bestie since my husband has to work and I can work remotely.  I am in an ocean view on deck 3, won a min bid with Royal up(40pp) Didn't know if Id make it with Ian, but flights to Florida were fine from Dallas to Miami area. Lots of people had to cancel and the ship doesn't seem super full, but I don't know the exact number onboard. lots of people got their min bid upgrades accepted though. 
 

Just got out of the water at Columbus Cove at the floating bar, very nice. Going to chill here and then decide if I'm going back to the ship for lunch or not!

Just got back on the ship, about 3 hrs before all aboard. Going to take a nice long shower and put in a cleansing face mask and take a nap 

 

internet guy onboard said allure will have starlink in 2 weeks and it's much needed. I got the streaming version of the internet and it's so slow

Following - looking at at Allure next May.  It will be our first RCL cruise since the restart, so I'll be interested in knowing what RCL has changed as far as the onboard experience.  Enjoy your cruise and thanks for the pics!

Thanks for posting since I will be on in a few weeks.  Can I just ask which shows you booked once on board, where did you book them once on board and if you had any problem booking any of them (ie: sold out)?     Thanks

I booked them as soon as I got onboard via the app. I did overhear some people talking around 4pm saying a lot was sold out

One thing I don't like is the staff members asking for room numbers for things instead of swiping for cards. Even at the beginning of the cruise I thought it was weird but I'm definitely peeved about it now 

 

last night in the casino, I was playing a slot machine and the man next to me was politely chatting. I'm too nice of a person so just be like "leave me alone" but I decided at this point to just go to bed. So I said "ok well I'm going to bed, have a good night"  and the guy said to me "you know, you shouldn't give our your room number to people. I overheard your room number and now I know what room you are in and I'm a nice guy but some guys aren't." 
 

idk this really spooked me, so I'm going to just walk around with a piece of paper with my room number on it to show staff members and basically run for the hills if I see this man again

I'm on the 10/15 sailing - our first cruise since 2/20 when we just missed the Covid craziness.

I love having San pellegrino with some crystal light lemonade...delish to me! Truly is pretty good too, the strawberry lemonade is my fav flavor and I also add crystal light lemonade to that to give it more flavor

Thanks for the Johnny Rockets breakfast menu.  am going to assume you can get mimosa's with your Johnny Rockets breakfast? That is the best way for me to kill a hangover. 🙂
