Woo hoo!!! Congrats!  Thank you for testing this out.

I will call and add another $1,000 of OBC tomorrow.  We got it on two of our cards on the same master account.

Can you let us know if they took off the credits on both cards.  I have the $350 discount and my husband has the $175 discount.  We too are on the same master account with different cc #s.

I was able to use 4 cards on the account and get the offer for all 4.  I had 3, spend 1,000 get 30,000 points and 1 spend $500 get 17,500.  All points have hit my account.  I hope this helps.

To clarify, was one card a primary card and the rest authorized user cards or are they four entirely different cards?

I use Amex Offers fairly frequently. Any time offers were duplicated on both primary and authorized user cards, I've never had a problem using both. That includes the last time X had an Amex Offer. Unfortunately, this time, Celebrity's offer is only on my primary card, not on the authorized user card. If it was, I have no doubt both offers would work.

I personally do not have any AUs yet a few seem to be asking card you if "double-dip" (or triple-dip, etc) , receive one offer on a primary and another offer on AU.  If AMEX is following their own T&Cs, that should be excluded

Let me clarify. Lets say I have Amex Platinum and my wife has Amex Gold and we are each an AU of the other's card. Under my login, I see my Plat and my AU Gold, and the Celebrity offer shows on both cards. I can only add the offer to one of the two cards.

Similarly, when my wife logs in to her account, she sees her Gold and her AU Platinum. Same thing, if the offer shows up on both cards, she can only add it to one, then the offer disappears from the other.

We can independently add the offer to either of the 2 cards that appear in our logins, it doesn't matter which or in what combination. But both will work.

Without trying to decipher Amex's T&C's, what I've described is how it works in practice and it's worked this way for years.

Thanks and that's exactly how I guessed it would work.  Simply trying to help others expectations when folks post "used two cards, received two offers" it probably doesn't mean one offer on a primary and another on an AU

I think the most concise way to describe it is that an Amex Offer can be added on only one card per user login account.

Now you got me confused.  In the past if the offer was downloaded on my everyday card it disappeared from my and my husband's blue card, platinum card and Amazon card.  Now I was able to download it on both mine and my husband's everyday card.  So can I use both on one booking?

I don’t book my cruise deposit on my AMEX card. When I have had an AMEX bonus applied and then had to cancel, the entire amount has been refunded to the original card (and we don’t lose the AMEX bonus).

Has anyone switched the card used for onboard expenses on B2Bs?

We got the offer on 2 Amexs . We have a B2B coming up where the cruises are currently paid off so will be adding the $1000 as OBC. We have card #1 registered for expenses on cruise #1. And so will put the OBC on card #2 for that cruise.

What I want to do is change the card used for onboard expenses for cruise #2 to card #2 and put the OBC for that cruise on card #1.

I have gone wild adding AMEX offers and then refreshing to pull in new ones, trying to get this to show up for us, but no avail. We have both personal and business Gold card accounts plus some Blue cards, and no Celebrity offers on any of our accounts. Bummer.

The offers are limited in number for the number people that can add them. Ex. Let’s say Celebrity only offered these offers up to the first 10,000 people. So once 10,000 people add them then no more people can see the offer or add it anymore. People have reported that they saw this offer the first couple days it came out and they didn’t add it and now it’s gone.

So unfortunately nothing you can do now, but in the future add the offers as soon as you see them.

You can edit the credit card you want to use for your onboard account in the online check in in the app or on the website.

I highly suggest you don’t use your Amex for the onboard account in this scenario. Use a visa or Mastercard or some other credit card.

Thanks.

I know that.

But I'm asking if anyone has ever done a B2B where they changed the credit card for the second cruise.

I don't see any reason I couldn't but you never know.

If you are going to have a credit of $1,000 coming back to a credit card after the cruise, you don’t want it crediting back to the card which you used the Amex offer on. You risk the offer getting clawed back.

Yes you can. What you described has never been the case for me. An added offer only disappears from all other cards in the same login but remains in other logins.

I understand that.

We have 2 separate Amex cards.

I have never had a charge or credit on my card show up on my husband's.

We each got the offer on our own cards.

EDIT: I think I see your point. Amex will see a credit and not know it wasn't from a specific card.

The solution is to get it in cash from the Slot machines in the casino. as someone suggested earlier.

My $350 statement credit hit today.  My offer was spend $1000, get $350 statement credit.  I paid part of my Galapagos cruise balance a few days ago, and checked today.  The $350 statement credit is there.  Two days ago, my husband had an offer for for spend 500, get 500 statement credit.  We redeemed that.  When he gets home, I will use his card to pay down the balance and we'll see what happens.  (Zero expectations that it will add a credit as he is an associate card - but we'll see what if anything happens).

I got the spend $1000 get 35,000 miles.  Very nice….  I did read the fine print about the offer.  It specifically said it cannot be used to purchase OBC.  Luckily I have another cruise for 2024 that I am currently making payments on so it won’t be an issue but hope others read the fine print.  Perhaps others don’t have the stipulations that I did but I’m guessing they probably do.  I’ve learned to read the fine print with all offers to make sure I don’t miss something.  It is a great offer I must say!
