Carnival Stock Questions

I am new to Carnival.  We have booked a cruise with Carnival for April 2024.  We own 100 shares of CCL stock and was wondering if Carnival has a form to fill out in order to get this onboard credit.  If they do, where would I be able to get a copy of it?

Thanks in advance for your help, I appreciate it.

Are they accepting OBC requests for August 2023 yet?

I'm wondering the same.  I have a cruise in September and I have waited to fill it out because the current form says: "The benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2023"

I got this on January 30th.

The shareholder's onboard credit is currently only applicable on sailings through July 31, 2023. In order to apply your onboard credit on your reservations sailing after July 31, 2023, you will need to submit a current statement after March 31, 2023 when the new shareholder benefits are released.

We have a cruise in April this year,  i just turned my form in less than 2 weeks ago, and 2 days later our credit was applied to our account.  That was the fastest we ever got it.  Good luck

Same  here. We booked an April transatlantic cruise last week and I received the $100 credit within 2 days of submitting the requisite information. And I wasn't even sure I would qualify for the obc because we booked under a casino rate and only paid $100pp for the cruise itself.

Make sure you blackout/redact your account number on your brokerage statement that you send them.

By any chance did you book it with FDN code where you paid $100 and got $100 obc

I'm curious too. I have 2 booked this year under casino codes.  I was denied 3 times last year because I booked under casino.

Weirdly enough, I always get it on princess, even when booked under the casino.

I'm sorry I don't recall. I do remember that when I called the number on the postcard I received in the mail, the agent told me that there were two similar codes that could be applied to the cruise I was booking; they were both $100pp with $200 total obc and "drinks on us" in the casino, but one was for a veranda cabin that was expiring that day, and one was for an outside cabin that wasn't expiring until the end of the month. We chose the veranda cabin even though we weren't sure at that moment if we could go. IIRC, one code had a C in the middle and one code had a D in the middle with the other two letters in the codes being identical. But that's all I remember (and I'm not even positive about that.) I don't see a code on my booking confirmation, but I can ask my pvp the next time I speak with him.

Can I assume that since the stock perk has been renewed, I can now send in my proof of stock (100 shares) information so that we can get credit for our April 2024 cruise?

I submitted mine on Monday for our Aug 2023 cruise, and got approved today. So, I would say yes.

Thank you.  Did it just show up on your reservation or did you receive notification from Carnival?

I also just got the email advising the credit was there. I booked 2 balcony rooms one for the wife and myself and the other booking was for my sisters. To my surprise each booking got the $100 on board credit. Now if the stock moves higher (bought at 8.50/shs) I'll be a winner. Right now, that looks like a pretty good bet. We'll just have to see...better odds than in the casino!

Does your statement have your sisters names on it?  I thought the shareholder credit was tied to rooms that had a shareholder in them?  Did you apply for the shareholder credit for both rooms at the same time?  TIA!

I booked both rooms and had separate booking numbers on each. I am listed as as the booker of both but I am only guest in one of the bookings. Shareholder credit was asked for in one note but I listed both booking numbers. It surprised me for sure.

I'm going to give it a shot since I'm the booker of both cabins but only asked for shareholder's credit for my cabin.  The worst they can say is "no", right?😉

Many of you already know this already, but for the rest-----we have booked a number of B2B 7 day cruises. We get $100 for a 7 day cruise, but we have asked for and received $100 and $150 since it totals 14 days ($250). Next Feb. we are scheduled on a 6 day ($50) and an 8 day ($100) B2B. I asked for and was just notified that I received $100 and $150----an extra $100!
