Have a great day in Victoria😎🕺🏻

It’s been a pleasure following your sailing🥰🥳

* as a notice for bubble, after the change in routine, you need to ask for your bobble bottle…… we have “lost” a lot of them. Since you need to request it.
I don’t understand why they just can’t leave it in the stateroom or just ask if you want it placed inside your cabin not chilled on arrival. (We always bring it home)

Well, I loved Moorea when we visited, but Zakynthos is now my number one as drop dead gorgeous.  It will be interesting to see how Moorea and Bora Bora compare with our next cruise, but not until next April from Sydney 2024!

Did you experience quite a bit of rain this year?  We sure did this year, but also tons of snow in Tahoe too.  Just lots of precip all over the world with Bologna, Ravenna and the list goes on and on…Azores etc.

I’m guessing a lot of folks didn’t drink it and because of the pandemic, they have to throw them out! Of course, that’s just a guess. But a friend we met on the cruise said he got one when they changed Aqua cabins in Honolulu and it was pretty bad. 😂

Actually on the cruises we’ve been on the weather has been quite pleasant. In fact, we’ve been pretty lucky since cruising started back up!  The only port we’ve missed because of weather that I can think of was in Iceland last August, and there definitely wasn’t any rain on our Africa cruise! 😂

Our final full day on our cruise was fantastic, especially since our daughter and her DW came to visit with us while we were in Victoria. Once we finished breakfast, we headed over to their hotel. Then we walked over to Beacon Hill Park and spent a couple of hours walking around there where we saw a bunch of wildlife and other stuff. Then we went to have tea for about 2 hours at the Pendray Inn and Tea Room, before going to watch a cool 45-minute 3D IMAX movie about deep water cave diving. Then around 4 pm, we took a water taxi over to Fisherman’s Wharf where we walked back to the ship.

And now for the pictures on a beautiful spring day in Victoria! 😂

As we were leaving the port on our initial 30-minute walk to their hotel, this was the only Victoria pigeon I saw to whole day!

Ken, can't thank you enough for taking us on your travels. I can't believe it's nearly over. Seems like it was just yesterday you left Sydney.

Wishing you safe onward travels and look forward to your next adventure.

Thanks for coming along! We did had a great time and hopefully that nasty looking storm in The Ditch the other day didn’t do too much damage in New Zealand.

We have arrived in Vancouver BC, our final stop on this great adventure! Thank you all for coming along, but it’s time to fly home to rest up for our next adventure! A family cruise around Japan in July on the Diamond Princess! 😁

Will you do a live from Japan?

I just arrived home, switching suitcases before it’s time to hit the ocean

Of course. How else are we going to remember the details of all the cool places we cruise to! 😂

Thanks Ken & Mrs Ken for taking us on your travels!!!

It's been great following along and reading all about your fantastic voyaging, your wonderful exploration of beautiful new places and of course the super-duper pictures.

Will definitely come back and read all about your Japan trip, especially since it's a place we would really like to visit.

Safe journey back home !!

Not sure this answers the question but at least they get some nibbles that you don't in Aqua

Thanks for you post! Most interesting. As for the champagne, our cabin attendance said he'd bring it whenever we want him to. Turns out it was laying sideways under the bed in a large wire basket along with a whole bunch of bottled rain water. We never bothered opening the champagne.

Hi,  Ken the cruiser,

Your review has been such a pleasure to read.  I am looking forward to the Japan one.  What will their pigeons look like?? LOL!  And I agree with your wife about the Japan food; there is just no comparison.  (just like local food from here, I guess).

Safe travels!  Aloha...

A windy night and a Sunami warning! Otherwise all good thank you.

I’m sitting on our balcony just watching time go by. Watching the various tour boats going to and from the commercial pier below and the construction going on across the way. I wonder what the sky line will look like from this view point next year?

Sorry, if you mentioned this earlier, but what side of the ship is your balcony? We are taking the same cruise in the spring of 2025 on the Edge and hope that we have booked the "perfect" side of the ship! 🙂
