I had to run out of dinner because of a flight cancelation. Found a quiet area by boarding to make a call. Still boarding ish deck 4

All the pics you have posted show a very quiet ship.  Is that typical for Celebrity? I'm throwing that question out there for Celebrity cruisers since I know this is you first time.

I do not have an answer to your question.  Makes no sense to me as I cannot figure out how an airplane gets overbooked.  I mean the number of seats on an aircraft is a known quantity. 

 

I have not heard of any of the GTY bookings on our cruise being assigned a stateroom yet.   

Megan said that one of the waiters told her they are expecting around 3000 guest and the ship maximum I believe is around 2600.

According to Celebrity’s website, guest capacity is 2593.
