Is Summit sold?

Don't mean to start a panic, but wondering about the whereabouts of Summit next year.

 

I've been thinking on and off about doing Bermuda in 2024, and noticed Eclipse is taking that itinerary.

 

This is the first time I've noticed Celebrity re-assigning their ships, so color me lost and confused. 

 

Anyone hear anything .. 

Sold, re-deployed, etc. ? 🤯

They have been reassigning ships lately.  edge is going to Australia, Equinox will be going to South America. Eclipse is doing the Northeast.   I have seen no indication that any ship is sold.

Not sure about a shell game, just moving ships to where they can be the most profitable.  After lol it is a for profit company.

And after Alaska, it'll be doing Southern Caribbean out of San Juan thru April 2025.

I haven't heard any rumors of any Celebrity ship being sold.

 

The Summit is a very popular ship to charter, but charters are rarely run from San Juan.  So I wonder what ship(s) they'll use for 2025.

Therefore she's been given the Panama Canal in 2024 (westward in Apr and eastward on Sep).

No. She's not been updated. We were just on Eclipse in November and is still looking amazing.

No the Eclipse, Solstice, Reflection, Infinity and Constellation have not be revolutionized.

No - just off Summit last week. The refurb was great and I think she’ll be with Celebrity for a while yet!

great to hear.   I sailed her in 2016 out of NJ with Capt Kate and this year I will sail out of Boston to NE.

 

Speaking of ships, I am glad to be doing the Edge from Barcelona in August before she leave for Suez Canal and then Pacific Ocean and alternating with Alaska.  She might not be in FLa for a while.
