So this is a new one for me.

I made a booking for NYE on the Odyssey for this year in June.  Just pulled up a new invoice and my shareholder OBC was automatically applied.

Just curious so I pulled up the holiday sailing for odyssey. It took the DP340 code. Odd which sailings it applies or doesnt.

Interesting. I was just getting my shareholder proof to send when i wandered over here and saw your post. I was a shareholder at the time i booked (still am), but nothing is on our account, and our cruise is before yours. Guess i will still apply as normal. Happy cruising.  😊

I would have waited to see it would get applied automatically.

No one should assume this (auto shareholder OBC) is a thing or something RCI would ever implement regularly.

The cruise I applied it to isn't until March of 2024. I have plenty of time so I could have waited to see how it played out.

We’ve got 12 booked for 2024. None have automatically received the OBC. I was planning on sending the data in next week or so, but now I’ll wait a while to see what happens.

What's odd is that I have another cruise that I  booked around the same time and nothing was applied to it....

How long does it generally take and where does one see this info? I applied for shareholder OBC and sent in my brokerage statement last week for a cruise we are taking November 2023. When I look at the booking on the website, it has next to no info at all - just the cruise dates and cabin category with my name and the rest of my family "TBA".

When you sign into your booking there should be something right up top saying how much credit you have to spend.

Late night on Fri I submitted my request for shareholder OBC for all my upcoming (non-casino) cruises thru Mar 2025. Early Sat morning my phone beeped with loads of new emails!  OBCs had been applied to all of my requested cruises with an updated invoice for each and the monies were reflected in my cruise planner.

The weekend shift was working hard!

I bet somehow accidentally they applied the obc to the wrong cruise.

That is also what I was thinking.  Monetary errors in our favor from RCI...extremely rare.  99.9% of the time.... it is an error in their favor.  😉

It shows this code is for reduced single supplement.

Yes I was commenting I checked the xmas/nye sailing in 2024 on odyssey and it took the solo discount code. Supposedly the code isnt good on holiday sailings but it went thru on this one.

Also worked for xmas dec 21 2024 adventure holiday sailing. ..though the nye adventure ots does not take the code. ..lol so I booked the xmas adventure solo for 2024.

It was just to let solos know in case they were looking for deals.

Nope, not there. I never got a mail confirmation either. I wrote an email and attached the brokerage statement. Hopefully that gets it done.
