I am sure they are Louie sweatsuits and you are not allowed to actually sweat in Louie sweatsuits. Them's the rules!!

Forget dress code

how about manners and common sense?

a guy who just came from gym is covered in sweat

his shirt and shorts are soaked through

he comes into arts cafe and plops himself down into an upholstered chair — a chair I will avoid for the balance of this cruise

Surely, on formal nights, jeans and T-shirt are fine as long as they identify as tuxedos?

You made my day!  Hilarious!!!

Where does it state that you cannot wear sweat soaked clothing?😇

Anyway he has paid his money, and he is on his holiday, so he can do what he wants😉

So the question is...with the new pricing for La Dame on the Silver Nova ($250-300 per person if the wine or champagne pairing is chosen) with the statement from Silversea that La Dame will require formal dress...will the dress code be enforced?

After all, "he paid his money, is on holiday and doesn't want to wear a tie."

Ducks and runs...😁

Will it be enforced?  No.

Should it be?  Yes.

Since I won't be dining at La Dame, I could care less what people wear to dinner.

Nor do i

but I think it is a very bad approach to management  to have a so called set of rules that are not enforced.

Have seen pax in the past come to the paranormal in wet bathing suits and coverups and sit in the chairs as well.

AND remember the sock saga.

I am in shock on this cruise. On my 2 previous cruises on Moon I did not see any behavior like this.

Wait… are you saying now that you cared before?  😆 I thought you made your POV on the matter pretty clear months and months ago.

In arts cafe

some poor fool is sitting in that chair

Not so much poor fool as unknowing fool.

For all you know, that sweaty guy sat in your chair the day before but you didn't see it.
