I certainly have, even from this distance. 😀😀

And I’ve learnt a lot, particularly concerning pineapples.

You'll never look at one the same again 😆

I've really enjoyed sharing your travels! I'll look forward to your next trip report. I'm a Carnival fan, but now you have me checking out Cunard, as well. Have a safe trip home.

Very different experience but if you go in with that knowledge I think you will have a great time. Very nice cruise line!

Safe travels home, it has been fun following along.

Will be interesting to hear a follow up from you if you have "sea legs" now that you are back on land and having been on a ship for so long.

I was thinking about that too last night. Especially as rocky as the last few days have been 😆

Oh no... not the farewell song 😢

Leaving on a fun ship 🎵

Sad times. Catching up from Friday and was sad to see the end cometh.

It has been fun. See you next time.

I don't usually get involved in these threads that fly along. It's not often I want to catch up over 8 pages since Friday. But it's been fun. Thanks so much. Safe travels home.

I live in the area but have never used Uber - but my friends use it all the time and their rides show up quickly.

Do you remember how to drive?

I think the issue is the huge increase in demand when a ship arrives. Hopefully this port would be set up for it, but you would think Miami would and it's a nightmare.

I never knew how to drive, but the state of Florida signed off on it anyway 😆

Curious how this went for you. We have a regular driver we call to drop us off or pick us up at the port. When he's not available to pick us up, we just grab a taxi when we get off the ship - and the rates have been very similar but we are super close to the port.

I still have several pages to go back and catch up on but just wanted to say thank you for posting your live review - I've really enjoyed following along! I woke up around 4:40 this morning (not on purpose) and saw the Freedom with her lovely new tail just about to enter the channel to the port. Watching the cruise ships come in while I'm still in bed is a sight that never gets old! 🙂

a couple of months ago my daughter and her friends were on their way to the Miami cruise port (from Orlando) when their car broke down about 45 minutes away...   they called an UBER and the driver understood her assignment!  LOL

the driver bobbed & weaved their way through the traffic, exceeded the speed limit and got them to the port with LITERALLY minutes to spare.  They were rushing to the terminal just as the doors were closing...  that UBER driver saved the day and got a very VERY generous tip for their dedication to getting there.

I would say that the UBER drivers (at least that one!) do a good job!

Good Morning  --

I have truly been enjoying your review(s) sporadically, as a binge reader...
I started when you were @ 70 pages or so - I am now on page 87 (your final day on QE) & you are currently up to 143.

Looks like I need to find time to binge a "few" more pages - hoping to catch up b/4 your cruise home is over 😎

Your review has been Fantabulous & love you & Mom can transition from Carnival to Cunard so seamlessly...

Your enjoyment of cruising & these cruises specifically shines through!

Cheers - Von

That’s OK then. I wonder what they use for room service.

We'll find out tomorrow morning; I think they're the shorties. 🤔

I did not get a picture from the steakhouse, so they cannot be judged.🙄

Aloha. Oh no…as an Italian my nonna would be aghast that the spaghetti was cut into pieces for anyone other than a child 😂

LOL  --  My Mama didn't allow cutting pasta for children either...
