And nothing on Quantum. I was really hoping for something new with this deployment. I'd have taken nearly anything. This is sad.
Jumping Cruiser Posted July 12 #79 Share Posted July 12 Athens (Piraeus), Greece - Port Bookings (Correct as of 12/07/24) Lots of bookings for Explorer and Brilliance in 2026. There is no standard calling pattern for either ships, but the likelihood of it being a copy and paste from 2025 is high in my opinion. 2026: 20th May - Explorer OTS 26th May - Explorer OTS 1st June - Brilliance OTS 2nd June - Explorer OTS 8th June - Brilliance OTS 9th June - Explorer OTS 17th June - Explorer OTS 23rd June - Explorer OTS 30th June - Explorer OTS 8th July - Explorer OTS 13th July - Brilliance OTS 14th July - Explorer OTS 20th July - Brilliance OTS 21st July - Explorer OTS 28th July - Explorer OTS 4th August - Explorer OTS 12th August - Explorer OTS 18th August - Explorer OTS 24th August - Brilliance OTS 25th August - Explorer OTS 31st August - Brilliance OTS 1st September - Explorer OTS 9th September - Explorer OTS 15th September - Explorer OTS 22nd September - Explorer OTS 30th September - Explorer OTS 5th October - Brilliance OTS 6th October - Explorer OTS 12th October - Brilliance OTS 13th October - Explorer OTS 20th October - Explorer OTS 3

smokeybandit Posted July 13 #81 Share Posted July 13 I wonder if they upgauge the Seward/Vancouver route with Voyager to Alaska with the new Seward port slated to be done in time for the 2026 Alaska season.

Any Voyager Class ship to Alaska would be the stupidest decision ever. They already tried with Explorer 2017-2019 and it was a fail. An inner focused ship with barely any windows to look out (other than the Viking Crown) and a wide open pool deck, sports deck and open Solarium. Also can't fit under the Lion's Gate bridge, so no option to go to Vancouver like Q Class is able to. Edited July 13 by Hoopster95

Maybe a Quantum ship then, as that's what the new Seward dock was spec'd out for.

Good call... or maybe the soon to be built in 2042 Discovery of the Seas with only 1000 occupancy, and introductory price of $500 per person for a 12 night sailing.

It’s supposed to be ready for the 2026 season. Could a voyager class be home ported in Vancouver? I believe Quantum have trouble getting under a bridge there. https://www.adn.com/business-economy/2024/04/21/with-commitment-from-royal-caribbean-alaska-railroad-advances-137m-plan-to-revamp-seward-dock/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR068KYPegivoR_fpFQENRcHjIcvnz-byeP_BnMkn4TpP0sqLNvI45gXQ-E_aem_AUqndKfTUb5x3EkdKoKD1JzTCOrM7Xnqx8GMfbnmZDlCTq28ItS8lxMHf-iGst8nE-lHp90Pprmhb42Gbd3GfVgd

Ah yes, a couple out of 3000 outdoors. The rest of the 2998 people all sitting on each others lap in the Viking Crown or walking up and down aimlessly in the Promenade. Perfect 😉

springaussie Posted July 13 #93 Share Posted July 13 If Alaska 2026 does get 3 Quantum Ships in 2026 they will have to use Ovation or Spectrum and replace it with a bigger ship in China. Odyssey does have port bookings in St Maarten after Europe 2026.

pyrateslife4me84 Posted July 16 #98 Share Posted July 16 (edited) Interesting seeing Wonder in St. Maarten. I guess she won’t stick exclusively to 3/4 nighters. Maybe just some extra expensive Christmas break itineraries to print money? Edited July 16 by pyrateslife4me84
Another_Critic Posted July 16 #99 Share Posted July 16 Looks like Odyssey will continue at Cape Liberty for winter 26/27. I don't see any Vision class calls at St. Maarten for Southern Caribbean sailings from Baltimore for winter 26/27.
