All I can say is WOW!!!to all of your cruises. I'm so envious. I like cruising but I love Aruba around Easter. Some day, when I retire, one of my cruises will include a stop in Aruba. sigh

We have cruised 3 times with 3 different cruise lines. We are working through them in the hope of finding a favourite one which suits us best. So far P&O which we did not like, NCL and Princess. This is our first with Celebrity.

Wish we could cruise more but job, family and the fact that we have such a long flight first means that once a year is all we can manage.

On July 17th we board the Constellation for cruise #48!

Our 50th anniversary will be April 05 so we plan to do our 50th cruise for our 50th anniversary.

First cruise was in 1961 on a very antiquated ship with no private facilities in the cabin! We've seen a lot of changes! Love to cruise.

22 cruises so I think, with so many it is hard to keep track, and heading out on what I believe to be my 23rd in about about 41 hours. Cruising is great and hoping to do 1 or 2 more this year.

We have done 47 and #48 will be next week on the Constellation in Europe. I guess you could say we "love to cruise". First cruise was in 1961 on an old, very old vessel -- no private facilities in your cabin in those days -- it was "down the hall" for showers, etc. But we had a ball and that set the ball rolling. Didn't cruise again until 1979 so the 46 other cruises have been since then.

Right now we have 368 days at sea -- but who's counting!

No such thing as a bad cruise -- just some lines we wouldn't care to go on again. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

Needless to say, Celebrity is a favorite -- 14 with them.

Bon Voyage!

Went on our first cruise over 20 yrs. ago on Home Line (defunct) to Bermuda on the edges of a hurricane and couldn't even walk on deck. People were bumping back and forth into walls! Have #2 son as a result of having to spend too much time in the room :o Fell in love with cruising despite the weather but took us 13 years before we sailed again but just returned home from #7 and booked #8 for Sept. to Bermuda! We have loved everyone and now our children are addicted :D

Had never cruised before I married my 2nd (after I divorced the first of course) husband in 1989. He had been on 3 in his previous marriage and liked it and to date we have been on some 28 together in those 15 years! My first was on Costa's Daphne, which compared to my Dad's 36ft fishing boat was a monster of a ship, when by today's standards she was a pee wee of a ship at 16,000 ton and 420 passengers. Hey, I had no comparison. When I saw my first megaliner a few years after that, Regal Princess, I was in awe.

My dream came true, when in 1995 we cruise Scandanavia-Russia on the Splendor of the Seas and I saw those beautiful Onion Domes, I had only seen in pictures and we visited both places my husband and mine's ancestors came from, Finland and Sweden.

We are now planning on a 28 day back to back on the Legend of the seas thru the Panama Canal in February 2005. We have cruised from Fla. through the Canal, but it was dark when we came to the Pacific side and I have always wondered what it looked like in the daylight hours. Since the end of a cruise is so traumatic and flying is not much fun anymore, we decided why not just stay on board and come back home on the ship.

Yes we are retired. Hubby told me 5 years ago now that he was tired of working and he was 55, so I told him to go ahead and take early retirment. He has never regretted on day of it.

I have probably been on over 50 cruises. I started sailing after I was divorced and my first cruise was in 1981 on the Oceanic. Before I was off that ship, my friend and I booked a cruise on the Doric. (Both owned by Home Lines, now defunct) I then went on the Emerald Seas. We went on the 2nd sailing of the Atlantic, another Home Lines ship, and the Emerald Seas many many times. My next trips were on Carnival. Too many to mention. I have been on NCL, RCI, Princess, Holland America but I truly love Celebrity. I have stayed in the cheapest inside cabins and in suites. Each cruise has had wonderful points and each has something that I didn't like. I go with the attitude that this cruise is going to be the best and somehow it turns out that way. My next one is not until December and that's on the Constellation. Oh, I forgot to mention, that almost 20 years ago, I remarried and my husband goes with me on most, even though cruising is not his favorite vacation. I think it is if you can't beat them, join them attitude on his part, but truly I feel he is getting to enjoy them--------especially the casinos. I think a cruise is the best value for the money, even better than the all inclusive land vacations.

I've been on 3 cruises back in Russia. One in the Black Sea ( was 14 at that time) and two on river Volga (one of them honeymoon)

1 Celebrity Century and 1 RCI Splendour ots.

Can't wait for my next 2 ( Zuiderdam and Mercury)

Love everything in US except my only 2 weeks per year vacation time!!!

Definitely Not Enough!!!

Seriously, we have only started cruising the last few years. We would spend our vacations exploring Europe - becoming experts using the transportation systems in various countries. After taking our first Celebrity cruise, we became ADDICTED to cruising. Now I am constantly plotting our next, and the next, and the next Celebrity cruise. Can't help myself!;)
