I am glad to hear some passengers are sticking up for Mellissa. We are also not super elite and do not bully anyone. I think some people may just misinterpret her Aussie sense of humor. We have sailed with Mellissa as cc hostess on several occasions and think she is really nice. I have never noticed any of the characterizations claimed by the above posters. We will be on the Infinity in July and again in September and hope that Mellissa will be there. It will be great to see her again.

I am elite and would like to know how to sign up for the Captain's Club. Or you signed up automatically when you become elite?

You need to be a member of the Captain's Club to become Elite, so You are already a member.

When you enter your stateroom, you will find some papers on your bed or table with more information regarding all the Captain's Club events on your cruise, your priveleges and discounts.

We're sorry to hear that she will not be aboard Infinity when we do the Panama Canal in November. :(

 

This morning I emailed with my friend Nancy who has been in touch with Melissa for approximately the past 2.5 years via email. Melissa told Nancy that she is moving from the Infinity to the Summit at the beginning of August. Sunflower46: You should see Mellissa in July, but we (you, the two of us, & daviddfld) will miss her in September and November. Oh well. I'll catch up with her at some point. Kathy

We saw Anca in SI in Dec or ML in Jan, can't remember which, I'm leaning toward ML as Event Coordinator.

 

Thanks for letting me know about Anca's being on the Silhouette or Millennium last winter. Nice to know she is still with Celebrity!

We have sailed with Mellissa on several occasions as well. We found her to be friendly, professional and an excellent CC hostess. She always found time to chat during the morning and afternoon elite hours. We look forward to sailing with her in October.
