After boarding, what's the first thing you plan to do?

Usually drop my bags and eat lunch! Drop my carry on bags at the cabin and head to the Horizon Court. Then walk around taking pictures (if it's the first time on that particular ship - or embarkment port).

Take the bags to the room and step out on the balcony to check it out. Then head to the library for some reading material. Then it is off to the buffet for lunch.

Since I missed a large part of the top deck till the last day on my first cruise in 2003, my very first mission after checking out the cabin is explore the entire ship on each deck.

Looks like I will go and try to book the Sanctuary. After I drop the bags and check out the cabin/balcony.....then we can eat & explore the ship.

Call to book a table for dinner, we have a large group. Visit the spa for any deals - sometimes the first night you get a great deal on a massage. Head over to the library before all the great books are taken. Take the kids to the kids club to register and explore the ship. Somewhere in there, a snack. I don't like to wait in the lines to board so will probably get on around 3... do you think that's the best time?

3rd, get to the Sanctuary for weeklong pass.

4th, eat a little

5th, check out spa

lastly back to room, unpack and call DINE for Ultimate Balcony Dinner.
