Go straight to a bar and upgrade our drinks package

Then find a comfy seat at sunset, put the feet up and say cheers

In venice overnight we do the Rick Steven bar crawl that is recommended, a local guy takes you round a few places for good wine and nibbles

First, upgrade our drinks package before we even board. . Second, check out the dining room to make sure our request is what they have listed (if we are not sailing AQ). Third, head for our favorite lunch foods (me to the Aqua Spa Cafe, DH to the panini grill) meet at the Sunset Bar to eat and have a glass of wine. Then head to the cabin when they open, followed by bathing suits and the hot tub! Ah, vacation.

1. Book specialty restaurants (normally a table setup as soon as you walk in).

2. Check our MDR table for two.

3. Purchase Persian Garden pass.

4. Buffet lunch while waiting for rooms to open.

5. Off to our room to unpack if bags are there, or have a quick rest before muster drill.

Eat.

Book specialty restaurants.

Explore.

Book the spa.

DRINK!

If you are overnight in a port like Venice for example what do you do?

Is it the same ritual every time?

Verify our dining reservation is a table for two. Have lunch on Bistro on Five. Use our drink package immediately with lunch! Booked everything else on line

1. If Possible, check Blu menus for the week-

2. For nights that I don't like the menu- check on specialty restaurants where I already pre booked, and see if it matches. If not, switch the days and times.

3. Go to lunch at either Bistro or Blu if available.

4. Go to on board wifi place and book package.

5. Go to room, start unpacking, if suitcases delivered.

6. If time, rest before muster

Send DH to upgrade drink package while I go to Future Cruise office to book another cruise😀

It is hard to believe that as soon as you get your current cruise you contemplate your next one by going to future cruises, come on!

1. If cabins available, check it out, drop off carry on

2. check out MDR table, switch if not what we like

3. Grab lunch

4. Unpack

Will need to make decision re:specialty dining prior to our next cruise (Eclipse, in July) because we were so very disappointed with our last experience (Summit, Normandy over New Years). Horrible service, food the same as MDR the next night with exception of souffles and escargot). Refusal to serve multiple of a course (as they always will do in the MDR). What were we paying $50/pp for?

1. Breathe in the sea air!

2. Kiss the DH and repeat how grateful I am to be on another cruise!

2. Get a drink - champagne or vodka!

3. Grab a bite to eat!

4. Check out our Suite! Meet the butler and concierge. Ask them to make our requested reservations.

5. Unpack if I can.

6. Head to the pool.

7. Relax!

8. Head to sunset bar for sail away!
