I'm going to do the riu resort and then stop at Senor Frogs. What are you going to do on your next Nassau stop or any port stop on your next Cruise?

Señor frogs a great place. We did the Hilton colonial resort near the port the last time we were in Nassau. Was a great and relaxing.

We're going to Junkanoo Beach for a while, then to the Fish Fry area for lunch, and then back to the ship. We're in port from 8:00-6:00 and we'll be back on the ship by 3:00. I'd imagine we'll make a stopover at Senor Frogs, too.

I've heard junkanoo beach is really nice

I was thinking about the Hilton but I don't like that its not all inclusive

In Nassau we love Greycliff manor and John Waltings(?) rum factory. Walking distance from the ship.

Safe sailing

I've heard a lot of good things about the rum factory

Yeah the Hilton is not the place to go if you want to drink. Was only able to get 2 drinks and a lunch with our voucher from the hotel.

RIU is nice, but the beach is full of people begging for your money, at least when i went anyhow

I don't blame them, but it does make it a bit less relaxing and peacefull

I am thinking of possible doing a swimming with stingray excursion or maybe Atlantis - I've been to Nassau 6+ times and haven't made it to Atlantis yet! But price is kinda steep for me, so we shall see

I know what you mean, I've heard the food there is really expensive at Atlantis

Agree. Why go off to drink if you have UBP? I do like to get to a beach though. How much is the RIU day pass? Breezes is for 18 and older, right?

I didn't think Junkanoo was a very nice beach. Pretty water but lots of garbage, bottle caps, broken glass on the beach and seedy people selling "stuff". I greatly preffered Cabbage beach.

RIU is 75.00pp all inclusive with food and drink.

Drinks are so so, cheap alcohol in them, food is ok, beach is just ok

When we go to Nassau this time, ship docks at noon so we will eat on board, am thinking about doing something active for maybe 2-3hrs, then head back on the ship before supper

We are going to be in Nassau in January and also have the UBP. Decided we are making it a ship day, enjoy the pool, maybe book a spa treatment and drink for free (before the surcharge days). Also have been to Atlantis for a dolphin excursion and while it was amazing, I was not at awe of Atlantis.

We've been to Nassau many times but we still get off the ship. (Who wants to swim in a ship's pool....yuck!?!) We've done the Hilton Day pass twice - gorgeous pool, comfortable chairs/couches, nice beach overlooking the ships, and good food. We've also done Frommer's walking tour, which I recommend everyone do at least once. Two weeks ago we did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon - loved it!! Blue Lagoon looks like a great beach and if we go back with a decent port time, we'd definitely check it out.

We did a walking food tour of downtown Nassau area last time we were there and it was awesome. We went to 6 different places all different variety, Greek, Bahamian, Dessert etc and got a really informative historical tour as we went. It was a really great day

Now this sounds interesting to me. Was it a ship offered excursion?

Am taking the water taxi over to Atlantis. Something like 8.00 round trip. Not doing the water park due to the cost, but would like to check out the hotel property otherwise.

Don't be disappointed when all you will be able to go to is the Casino....
