  1. I have only been on two cruises so far (more to come😎). This has also been my experience. We had a Mini Suite on the Escape in 2018 (10790), and a Club Balcony on the Getaway in in 2022 (11184), both had bigger bathrooms than standard Balcony....Escape with a big shower, Getaway with a tub, big disappointment on the Getaway Balcony......way too small, otherwise the cabins were not noticeably bigger than standard Balcony Cabin
  2. So, if I enjoy the meal / service at a specialty dining, and add an additional tip on the charge, it doesn't go to the server ?
  3. I've had people on FB say they "Hate Cruise Critic", yet will join in on a Cruise Critic Meet & Greet 🙄
  4. We requested, and received towel animals every day on our April cruise on the Getaway
  5. Ocean Blue, I highly recommend the Scallops with Pork Bellies. I also had some sort of Fisherman's Platter, didn't sit well, food poisoning took me out till late next afternoon. The Wife had Iceberg Wedge which she was extremely satisfied with, and some sort of combo with Mussels that ended up being more like a soup, never touched it.....just our experience
  6. Miami Vice and a Duck Fart, both were great, as long as the Duck Fart is done correctly, it's a layered shot.
  7. We enjoyed having the Ocean Villa available for our use, shared the entire Cove with maybe 6 other who also had Villas. My only disappointment was I feel we missed out on the party atmosphere that was happening at the main beach
  8. We booked a Balcony on the Prima, NY to Bermuda in May 2023 for 4k. Same trip on the Escape in June 2018 in a Mini Suite (remember those) for $3,700.....either Escape was overpriced, or Prima a great deal IMO
  9. We had our test already in hand before arriving at the terminal, it went pretty quick once we hit the "zig zag" line. I agree, it's like a small airport without food. For transportation, we hired a car to and from the Port, easy peasy. Have all your paper work out and at the ready, breeze on thru.
  10. ....and everything I mention that, I catch all heck from those doing so.
  11. Oh great, smaller rooms and balconies. We had a Club Balcony on the Getaway, and Boss Lady still complains about today if we talk cruising, now we are talking "small" on the Prima also !
  12. We were on the Getaway back in April. There were kids in the adult Hot Tubs (between 4 & 10), at one time, about 6, including what looked like a 4 year old in swimmies, after 1/2 hour, the Wife asked them to please move on so the adults can use the adult Hot Tub, they left with no issues. Then came the 10 year old who jumped in the adult pool, not realizing how deep it was, held another kid under water to help her stay afloat, a parent jumped in to pull the kid out from drowning, as soon as he reached the surface, vomitted from water intake.....Pool closed, no incident report to NCL, I checked a week after the cruise.
  13. Wife and I had an Ocean Villa, had attendants that would run for beverages, great buffet nearby, private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, shared the Cove with maybe 6 others. Downside for us.....was too quiet, could hear music and all the action on the main beach, sounded like a great party we missed.
  14. After their last performance, we met the two ladies at Howl at the Moon.
  15. When we were on the Getaway 4/3 - 4/10/22 they did Fleetwood Rumors album with a backstory, and also did a Prom Night with popular Prom songs. They were awesome, need a bigger venue.
  16. The Villa was nice, don't get me wrong, we shared the entire Cove with 6 other people, no real action, no party, no dancing to the music, a little disappointed.
  17. We reserved an Ocean Villa on GSC, I could hear the music playing from the main beach area I should of headed over there, sounded like a good time, our area was too quite for my taste.....I like a party atmosphere. Ocean Blue, Bread was great, Scallops with Pork Bellies was phenomenal, I had some sort of Fisherman's Platter.....food poisoning took me out for almost 24 hours.
  18. Yep, this was the case in Cabin 12184, and that was a "Club Balcony" aka: Mini Suite. Did have a tub, which was no fun stepping in / out with my bad Knee and Back
