  1. Didn't say it was a "real" taco. Just said it was better than Guys grease patty. But if we're going down the road of "real" food from our native areas...I don't even want to talk about the stuff Carnival passes as "pizza". Worst I've ever had. But, at least the 40 minute long lines for it don't affect me.
  2. I'll take the tacos and burritos from Blue Iguana over Guy's slop patties every day of the week.
  3. I'm looking at booking an Odyssey interior cabin and couldn't help but notice that cabin 12623 seems larger than the neighboring interior cabins of the same category. Is it a handicapped accessible cabin?...is it actually larger?...is it just an optical illusion? Any insight is appreciated. TIA.
  4. You'll be onboard during the NCAA football opening weekends. Let us know if they have any of the games on (whether it's the casino bar, or Red Frog). TIA
  5. Did you spend any time in the casino, and in particular, the casino bar (Hat Trick bar). Were they showing anything besides European soccer and cricket?
  6. I sail in September for Canada and there's no such advisory for my cruise. I can still purchase all 3 levels of wifi services as usual.
  7. For the record, the Sunrise has the worst space to passenger ratio rating among the Carnival fleet, and one of the worst in the industry.
  8. The breakfast is free at Johnny Rockets only on Oasis-class ships.
  9. In the meantime, people with RCL sailings in the next 4-6 weeks (like me) still have to make provisions for a PCR/rapid antigen test not knowing if we need to throw down a few hundred for something that won't be neccessary.
  10. I have a couple of RCL insulated beer bags with shoulder straps that I bought a few years that I bring every cruise. On Oasis and Allure, they honored the 5 for 4 deal. But, on Symphony last November, they wouldn't do it......don't know why.
  11. If that's the case, then that should presumably answer my question of whether they'll be showing the games onboard. And, I'd have to open a BetUSA account, though they've had quite a bit of customer service complaints in the past from what I've heard and seen.
  12. I posted this question on here a month ago. Looks like I'll have to find out next month.
  13. According to the NFL schedule, Amazon Prime has ALL Thursday night games aside from the Buff/LA Ram opener on 9/8 and the 3 Thanksgiving games.
  14. Carnival's wifi is also more restrictive than Royal's. Try making a sports wager on Carnival.
  15. They do this to minimize the use of paper and help the environment, but they'll still leave 3-5 pieces of paper with spa specials, jewelry sales, art auctions, where to shop in port, etc on a daily basis.
  16. I didn't miss you by much. My first cruise was on Ecstasy back in Dec. 1995.
  17. Really showing true colors with that statement. But it's not like everyone on this board already knew that.
  18. If it's 5 nights, Bermuda and NYC area departure you want, there's the Carnival Magic going out of Manhattan in Sept. for about $3,200 for 2 in a Grand Suite.
  19. I wrote that Amazon had the TNF rights in my email to CCL. And that was the response, I assume, by John Heald. Guess I'll find out in Sept.
  20. Just putting this out there. I sent an email to CCLSupport and this was the response: Hello Mate, It will depend on the satellite broadcasting and location of the ship. If we do have access, we we will have it on. Cheers, John
  21. I've spent a sea day NFL Sunday or 3 doing this. It's only a $5 charge after the voucher and one gets about 4-4.5 pint glasses out of 1 pitcher. And my server places a baggie full of ice inside the pitcher after he or she pours my first glass to keep it cold.
  22. I thought the beach in South Beach was nicer, but the water was uninviting and sludgy. Chill Island has nicer water and is closer to the Chill grill.
