  1. Sept we were on Eclipse in a CS and I asked our butler about the little box of chocolate. The butler said only the high suites get the box of chocolate. In SS we used to get the bag with the zipper in the side. Not in our CS in Sept. Just a X bag with 2 handles.
  2. I would fly to Vancouver BC and do a 7 night Alaska cruise Vancouver to Vancouver. Then Vancouver to Hawaii 9 night cruise. Sept 15 Solstice Alaska, Sept 22 Solstice to Hawaii.
  3. We were on the Eclipse last Sept in a non angle CS. Photo of the lounge chair on balcony. I personally dont like the E Class ships Retreat area or Luminae.
  4. Photos from Summit balconies cabins 1114 and 1116.
  5. Our last cruise on Eclipse the pilot came on board by helicopter. The port was at Astoria Oregon.
  6. I agree with you about some of the food choices in Blu. I also wont eat duck, pheasant, veal, lamb. But would add quail, pigeon/swab and Blu meatloaf (damp and soggy) that looked like cat food from a tin. We were just on Eclipse and the food in Luminae was not very good. The food I ate from the MDR was very good.
  7. Our last cruise I tried to book a individual booking for Murano for 4 at 6:30. We were in a CS suite. My MIL was in a balcony cabin. I was unable to get 6:30 until I called the Retreat Concierge. X holds tables for suite guest.
  8. The colors are the same as Cruise Critic.
  9. We sail mostly in suites and have the PDP. We still went to the Elite events until 6:30.
  10. AT NIGHT SMART CASUAL Smart Casual attire is required for entry to main dining, specialty dining, and the Celebrity Theatre. Smart Casual means you look comfortable yet tasteful in a dress, skirt, long pants, or jean, and stylish top or button-down. Shorts and flip flops are not considered Smart Casual. EVENING CHIC Each itinerary features one to two “formal” nights we call Evening Chic. Evening Chic means you dress to impress, glamorous and sophisticated in your own way, with a cocktail dress, skirt, slacks, or designer jean, an elegant dress top or blazer—some guests even pack a tuxedo or gown for onboard photos. The Daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, Smart Casual attire is acceptable for dining and theater.
  11. We were on Eclipse in Sept/Oct. Service in Luminae was very good. Assistant waiter G was great. Our somm was ok. He was better after a couple of days. The ribeye was horrible.
  12. Photo of the Seafood Tower from S Class ship a number for years ago. There was a charge years ago. I dont remember any fee for the Tower when we last ate at The Porch. On the E Class ships Raw on 5 have oysters in their The Imperial Tower, cost $70.
  13. Exclusive services and amenities Exclusive access to The Retreat Unlimited access to the Adults-Only SEA Thermal Suite on Edge Series Unlimited access to the Adults-Only Persian Garden on Millennium and Solstice Series 2 Yoga mats & In-room fitness amenities Full In-Suite Menu (Breakfast and Dinner) featuring clean cuisine from Blu https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class/aqua-sky-suite
  14. We only sailed on the Edge once. Apex next June. After the limited menu in Luminae on the E class ships, I'm dreading having dinner in Luminae.
  15. I dress smart casual every evening. Most evenings we dine in Luminae.
  16. If I remember correctly. The Silhouette and Reflection have a area called The Hideaway. The Hideaway has a coffee station on deck 7 or 8. Book your cabin near The Hideaway coffee station.
  17. We were just on Eclipse last month. We dined one night in Murano. The Chateaubriand for 2 was really good. If they have cold water Lobster onboard they will prepare it table side. They hold back early dining times for suite guests. Once onboard go to Murano's. Mention your anniversary. While you both might want to dress up. Do so if you want. All X specialty restaurants are Smart Casual.
  18. We stayed in 1114 and 1116 on Summit. Cabins were fine. Very little overhang on the balcony. Photos from Summit.

  20. Yes, you can change one name only once. Others will have more details.
  21. Were just off Eclipse Oct 1st. Your photo is what our rib eye looked like in Luminae. About half that thickness and very tough.
  22. We were in 1622 on the same cruise. Remember the pilot for Astoria coming in by helicopter. A friend sent me this photo.
