New ships always get buzz when they are about to sail and through their first sailing. Luminosa seems to be a dud, so its not all roses on the Costa by Carnival side
Sonar probably hit a fish, whale, or something so it appeared shallower than it really is. That being said, I've seen plenty of spots where a shelf causes it to go from 200-5000 ft in 20 ft.
I wonder when they changed that? I know it was still there on Panorama in January because we found out it was only 46 degrees on deck the night we left Cabo San Lucas to head back to Long Beach.🥶
Generally, Carnival starts releasing dates in October and then slowly releases them until all are done. I think they just barely finished releasing through the end of 2024 to April 2025. In fact, they might not be done yet.
I'm a little confused why you are mentioning P&O. Are you cruising with them and looking at the Carnival site for info? Carnival Cruise lIne is not the parent company, Carnival CORPORATION is. Carnival Cruise Line is like the sister to P&O.
There really is no rhyme or reason about offers. I spent about $5k in the casino while my wife spent $50 at BINGO and she got a better offer than me. I see many complaints similar to this on social media.
Where you are talking about the tender in Cabo, you just go to the platinum area and they will ask how many. Its not the same as boarding in the home port.
You will see until April 2026 start rolling out late this year. They start releasing new dates in October and November and keep going until they are finished.
