We rented a vehicle from Avis at the airport. Just fyi.

I pre-booked boarding day lunch at a specialty restaurant for just myself and DH will join me once on the ship, and plan to use our BOGO for lunch. Have not tried this before, so hoping we're successful!

So sorry for all of you experiencing cancellations. DH and I are booked for the Radiance of the Seas in September, 2024, from Vancouver to LA, and doing a B2B, leaving LA the first week of October, cruising through the Panama Canal and all of the way to Tampa, since we have a winter home there. We will definitely use Air2Sea for our flights from Tampa. Hoping things are better by then and our ship will be able to go through the PC, as this is on our bucket list as well!🤞

Also, I didn't want to scroll through all of these posts, so I apologize if this question has already been asked: Do the cabin stewards prefer a certain time of day to clean or do you ask for a preferred time? TIA!

Just wondered, did anyone else have to look up the word, "excoriated"? Never heard that one! LOL! I had the right idea of the meaning but wanted to make sure it wasn't similar to executed!😲 Haha!

Yes, Latte-tudes special coffees are included in the Deluxe and Refreshment packages. I always enjoy a caramel macchiato every "early" morning while on the Radiance. Will be on her again in 2024! Enjoy!

Have to share my story here. Back in the day when I was much much younger and dumber, I worked for a drive-in type fast food place (Dog N Suds). I was a "car hop" (outside waitress serving parked vehicles). All of the inside employees, cooks, fryers, etc., were also young people. One of our patrons got "smart" and obnoxious with one of our cooks, who I later observed to spit in the guy's sandwich!😲 Hoping things like that don't happen these days but, hey, ya never know!🤔 Enjoy your meal! Sounds well worth it! Haven't got our quote yet. I was going to have our nephew pick us up but this sounds much better to me and easier for him! He will be arriving Honolulu the day before us and has never been to Hawaii, so will not know his way around. We both rented a vehicle since there will be 9 of us total. Will let you and others know what our quote is, as well.

Well, crap! Our cruise ends in Honolulu in October and we are also needing transportation from the cruise port to the airport to pick up our rental car. I have just assumed that there would be plenty of transportation available as we exit the cruise terminal or am I wrong? Hope someone can advise.

I have not experienced the Mauka Warriors Luau but viewed the video and it looks really good! Sorry you couldn't book the Toa Luau; we have that one booked during our 5-night post-cruise stay in October. Our best luau experience ever was the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui but the ship won't be there long enough to do that again. We chose Toa because of the site being closest to the beach. They don't provide transportation but, since we'll be renting a vehicle anyway, that didn't matter to us. In any event, hope you enjoy your luau and let us know about it! Mahalo!

I have only heard that, yes, you can use the D+ BOGO at Chops for lunch. I've also heard that, in order to get your preferred day and time, that you can pre-book and pay for lunch for one (there are no tables for just one person); then, have your other person show up with you and ask to use the BOGO. You may need to pay the increased on-board price for the one lunch that you may have bought on sale pre-cruise but still a good deal! Anyway, I did just that for our October cruise. I pre-booked a table for me and then when DH goes with me, I'll ask to use my BOGO discount. If it doesn't work, I really don't care but maybe it will! Fingers crossed!🤞

Reminds me of that saying, "should I stay or should I go". Maybe it's that the older I get, the longer it takes me to make decisions.🙄

That's why I usually visit the Cafe Promenade every morning for my caramel macchiato! Yum! I only indulge in these while cruising. Don't want milk or half-n-half in my coffee! I buy the flavored creamers while at home but my cruise coffees are the best! DH prefers black coffee. Yuck! To each her own! I do like the Bailey's suggestion though! Cheers!

Ours actually went down for February, 2024 by around $15 (unless it's an error).🤫 Went down from $282.12 to $267.78. Woohoo!😁
