Has HAL quietly eliminated salmon from the "always available" menu?

The last several sets of menus I've seen, including Roy's current posts from Statendam and crew news' Westerdam menus from earlier this summer, have not listed salmon in the "always available" section of the MDR dinner menus.

The listed entrees are only the chicken and steak.

Has anyone experienced this? We cruise in two weeks from today and this would make a very unpleasant DW as she is a fishivore and orders it nightly ...

Maybe I'm weird but even if I don't enjoy an option I never like to see it eliminated and not replaced. :shrugs shoulders:

Of our 70+ nights with HAL I'd safely guess DW has had it 65 of those. :/

We just got off last week and it was available. They did not have caesar salad listed and it was available. Our server said it was just a printing error. He said all you had to do was ask for it. They also had salmon listed as the fish many many nights.

I also eat it many times on a 14 day cruise.

I think I stand corrected: I double-checked and salmon is listed on Roy's Statendam posts, it just is a little different as it's listed as a pesto salmon.

Crisis likely averted ...

Am very pleased to know that the Salmon continues to be available daily.

Salmon was on the always available menu on the Zaandam in July. There were also lots of other fish choices over the week that we really enjoyed.

We like it too. I order it many nights on our cuises.

I order the salmon pretty much every other night, so I sure hope it is still on the menu. HAL does it just the way I like it.

I know it was there in May.

You really had me worried! I'm a pescetarian and salmon is my favourite fish; I would have been extremely disappointed if I had to go seven days without it.

I have had the salmon in Pinnacle and have really enjoyed it. :)

I've never had a serving there I didn't care for.

glad it wasn't true as DW chooses it when she can't eat the normal choices on menu due to her allergy to egg products.

You don't have to order it if you don't like it. Why would you be happy that other people might be deprived of something they appreciate? :confused: What a selfish reply!

It was on our menu on the Nieuw Amsterdam last week.
