Two HAL ships will be visiting Juneau on Friday. Zaandam is scheduled to be at the AS dock from 0800-2200 and Volendam at the CT dock from 1300-2200.

Unfortunately, the beautiful weather earlier in the week is gone and there is a 100% chance of rain with the possibility of over an inch of rain. High will only be 51F/10C and the low 45F/7C. Sunrise is at 4:39 am and sunset at 9:11 pm.

Also in port is Island Princess at the FKL dock from 1200-2200.

The PTZtv webcam can be found at http://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ .

Next up: Monday will see three HAL ships (+two others) in Juneau.

We will be there in two weeks. Hope the rain isn't on an every other week schedule. :)

Thank you for the link.

Yup. Hoping this is the only bad weather day in port. We have no excursions booked (I've done whale watching and mendenhall twice already) but might check out the museum. Wanted to find a playground for my daughter but not if its wet.

Here's how nice the inside passage is right now!

I was talking to one of the Zaandam crew 'Alaska newbies' and told him about Juneau's lousy weather, I see that Friday will not make a liar out of me.

Depends on what time I finally get home tomorrow, whether I will be there to watch.

Zaandam should be close to an hour early as she is rounding Douglas Island right now ready to enter the Gastineau Channel.

We are going to need a webcam wiggle with all those raindrops!

This is when we need a wiper blade......!!

I just checked weather.com for the hourly weather....and it's suppose to rain 100% by 10:00.....

Volendam is at the southern end of the Glass Peninsula. Unless the weather holds her up she should get in a little early.

I see (rather hear) that the rain has not stopped the noisemakers doing their flights.
