Regal Princess-Skywalker lounge?

For those that have cruised on the Regal, is there a Skywalkers lounge at the front of the ship? We loved this space on the Emerald and Ruby and just wondering if it is available on our next cruise ship.

Nope, no Skywalkers on Royal class ships.

The dance club on Royal class ships is Club 6, which is on deck 6 next to the casino.

The Royal and Regal have a very nice bar with comfortable seating at the back of the ship on Lido deck, the Horizon Terrace. It’s partially covered. Great views.

That sounds nice for a drink or short term visits in good weather, but where on these ships is there a relatively quiet indoor spot with a sea view that's accessible during sea days? This is especially important to us on longer trips, especially in cooler weather. There doesn't seem to be anything even close to Skywalkers for providing this kind of environment. Any suggestions?

I would say for what you are looking for Crooners is the best place. I don’t ever remember any daytime activities there, there are windows along the side and plenty of seating. If you are seated by the windows I would be surprised if any noise coming from activities in the piazza would be bothersome.

Club 6 also has windows and comfy seating but I think there are sometimes day time activities scheduled in there.

It is often used for trivia and is, in my opinion, a terrible venue. Seating is awkward and frequently unavailable plus the layout of the room (long and skinny with partial walls) is horrible. It is also used for meet and greets, and unhosted meetings such as military, educators, etc.

Just one slight edit, on the ships that have Skywalkers, it's located at the back of the ship. :D

Apart from the buffet I can’t thik of a single reason to sail the Royal or regal.

On a warm weather cruise the mostly covered Outriggers Bar area off the Horizon Court is a delight with a help yourself coffee/tea/ice tea drinks station, lots of tables and chairs including wicker chairs and sofas with coffee tables.

They also use it for the over MT cocktail parties.

And that is just the section directly facing aft. There are lots of covered tables and chairs on either side.

I may be wrong but isn't the seating area on the starboard side by Outriggers a smoking area also?

I could have sworn that I saw ash trays on the tables.

Not on our 25 day B2B on the Royal last fall when we spent time there daily (and for some reason that was our favorite side of the ship).
