I did it! I booked for March 2019!!!! So excited will be on the Oosterdam! Have never sailed on that ship!

But I bet the deposit is non refundable :D

I don't see it on the website. Where are you finding it? I don't see it on the front page, nor under Deals.

My TA notified me. I think you can either phone your TA, your PCC or HAL and ask if you are interested in a particular cruise if the $1 deposit is offered on it. You don't have to receive the email for this offer.

I got it on the new web site. Came right up.

I just called my PCC and asked about it. I was told that any cruise under 16 days qualified, and I got the perks of the current promotion

So weird, but it's not showing for me. It's mostly just curiosity on my part, but I wonder why we don't all have the same experience - in my case no email, nothing on the website. And I'm definitely seeing the new site, although it looks different than it did a couple of days ago. Ah well, that's another topic.

I use my Future Cruise Deposits (FCD) as it is a better deal. They already have my $100 deposit plus this way I can get $200 in OBC on my cruise (depends on length and category.

Not so. Fully refundable since $1 pp deposit only applies to refundable rates.

Just for the heck of it, I priced out the $1 deposit and the full deposit. (Both Mariner and retail.)

You're basically paying an option cost for the dollar deposit. If you know what cruise you want, book regular fare.

We took advantage of the offer and booked the Rotterdam for March 2019. Pricing was the same as a few weeks ago using the Mariner discount.Yes, we will have to pay the full amount ( minus $2) in December but it sure was nice not to have to tie up $700 right now.

Yes pricing was the same and still received the promotional of gratuities included.
