These aren't super dressy, but I was pretty excited about the deal I got on them. I just picked both of these up at Maurices for $10 a piece!

I also picked up four other casual dresses to wear during the day time. My total was $45 for all 6 dresses!! Woo hoo!!

These are beautiful, and they were a great deal! We don't have that store around, here, bummer. I

Hope this works. This is the first Ebay purchase I made. At least this time my head isn't cut off in the picture.

It works and the dress is absolutely lovely:)

You look stunning in that... all eyes will be on you. I have ALWAYS wanted to wear that "mermaid" style of dress, but I just don't have the figure for it like you do.

a simple cotton black dress (~$15 from h&m) that i wore a few times on our cruise. in this picture, we were heading to a champagne art auction. i also wore it to the meet & greet. and a few times as a cover up to the pool. love this dress!

You sure got your money's worth. That's very smart to pack something soooo versatile.

Hi,

I'm from the UK and this is the first time I've posted on the fashion forum, even though I look at it nearly every day. I just had to post a reply to say the dresses for $10 each look lovely.

The lady in the long dress..........it is just fabulous and looks so good on you.

One of these days I'll pick up courage to post one of me in my dress/es.

We are cruising at the end of the month, so perhaps will get a nice photo taken I can share with you.

I should mention that I'm getting the dress hemmed, and the train is going, or at least most of it. Trains look lovely in a picture, but once you go to move, they're awful. If you aren't stepping or tripping over it, other will.

The brown one looks great on you Laurie and I think you have made a good choice to lose the train on the gold. It will look much nicer without it and be a LOT easier to wear. Enjoy

Cute dresses. We just got a Maurices in my town this past fall. I didn't buy anything yet, but I'll be going back and looking again.

I love this on you! You look totally different with your hair up too, so it is a whole new look even though it may have been the same dress! Where'd you find the dress? Edited by wrcjr98

Just bought this dress on ebay...it was inexpensive so figured i'll see how it looks on...mb wear to non formal night dinner or just around the ship. The top(bodice) looks a little sheer so will have to see what's up with that..not a big fan of strapless bras so might just wear a reg bra and sweater over so straps don't show...ANOTHER black dress LOL...can't help it!

I love the "hi-low" dresses that are longer in the back! I think you could wear one of those cami's under the dress if it is too sheer? they do have strapless ones with bra's built into them on the coobie website -

Hey all. Been lurking for awhile and decided to post my bargains I found at dress barn. (All 3 for less than $80) I bought these for an upcoming 21 day cruise in March, and have been very excited to go shopping this time around. Over the past year and a half I managed to take off 130 lbs and for the first time in 20 years I'm back in a size 10 - whoo hoo!

I thought I would stick with cocktail dresses as these I may be able to wear again when not on a cruise ship. Now to figure out what jewelry and shoes to wear!
