2014 Identity Captain, Hotel Director, Concierge, etc.

Forgive my ignorance on this topic, but why would I need the identities of these people first time on ncl my ship is the breakaway leave less than 30 days..

 

 

Return cruisers often want to know who is on the flag staff. If you return to NCL after this trip you will certainly meet these folks and it is a small family. Amazingly I find people recognize me and remember my name even years later.

Staff changes happen almost every week on ships not just The Epic.

do you happen to know who the Concierge was?

I wonder how many of the same crew will be onboard for the start of the Alaska cruise season?

 

We were only in a mid-ship balcony:(, but lucky to have a dear CC friend in the Owners Suite who entertained us.:D His Concierge was Virginia and his Butler was Bagus. He did a fantastic review with pictures of our cruise! Check it out... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1979682

He also has pictures and comments on the Haven.

No way to know how long the crew will stay on a ship. Wish there was some magical way to keep this crew together.

Dan Dan is the CD and Dingo Dave was the ACD on the Dawn as of the 2/23 sailing.

Last night on the breakaway and Ruth has been a wonderful concierge, she is very professional and very sweet to deal with. Kadek is her assistant. Dan the Man CD very good,.

Although carlos was great on the gem

the best concierge is Adrian Bica

I wish he wasn't so good and moved to the newer larger ships

Anyone know who will be the concierge for the Getaway in June? I am really hoping for Adrian. We loved him on the Epic.

 

Also- anyone know where Leo the butler is now? He was our butler last year on the Epic and we really loved him too!

I liked Carlos on Pearl but my wife did not appreciate his humor. I thought he was great. On a port day, my wife left her camera in a bathroom - somewhere. We told Carlos (it was probably four hours later) and he had it the next morning at breakfast. Talk about connected.

That is 6 months from now, so it would be impossible to know for sure. Especially since they rotate between ships and also have vacation times. And since they all came on board on different dates they also leave on different dates. I think you would have a much better chance of getting the information you want if you post the same thing in August. ;)

Just wanted to mention Sinan Ulucay replaced Julie on the Getaway. I heard until the end of April. Not sure who will replace him after that.

Dan Dan from Philly (Phillappines) was ACD on the GEM last June. Really liked him. Hope he is still CD on DAWN in June '14 too.
