Too bad Copper is not here to give us the protocol in a situation like this.

Agreed! The man with all the info. :D

As far as easier to go back in to port... it is probably very difficult navigating large ships in there, it is easier to transfer patient to a smaller vessel. *shrugs* I don't know that protocol yet.

Yeah you would think so but they have to pay for all the dock hands to retie her up and the time at the dock, etc.

Right, but if someone's life is at stake I would hope that they would go back despite the expense, if going back is quicker than having a smaller boat come out. Perhaps, if this IS a medical evacuation, it is for something that is not usually immediately life-threatening, like a broken leg.

one, there is too many ships leaving for them to just go back in.

Two, vast sums of money to dock again if the patient is mobile and not a serious case. They would only dock if they were in a serious condition.

Three, all the rest of the party needs to be off loaded plus there luggage, so that takes time to collect together.

Very true. all of it. If it had been more serious they would have had to go back to port, despite money, despite dock crew. Like it looks like Allure is currently doing. What is going on down there today??
