MS Eurodam & MS Nieuw Amsterdam Sail-Away February 22, 2015

Small boat alongside. Access door open starboard side just aft of the elevators. Lot's of activity. Could this be a pilot boat. Did the pilot leave NA and have to return for the ship to return to port?

Closed Firefox and started it again now sound is back. Things are a bit whacky today.

They've fully lowered that platform where the tender boats go from.

Sure seem like it is medical. They have lowered down there portable dock.

It was hard to tell if that was a pilot boat or one of the sheriffs' boats alongside. It did have a flashing red light on top, which I seem to think the sheriffs' boats have.

 

Is that a new, larger door opened?

I have been so busy working on my classes that I have not had a chance to watch sail-away for some time. I happened to be responding to a former teacher who is writing a letter of recommendation for me and caught a picture posted by Port Everglades Webcam about Nieuw Amsterdam. I hope everyone on board is ok. Shame we can't hear the radio to find out what is going on. I joked and said maybe she just wants to watch all the other ships go out. :rolleyes:

On the Ft. Lauderdale cam you need to change to NE in upper right hand corner.
