Hi if your doing a back to back on the second week are the shows repeated from the first week ? Also special nights etc ?

Usually yes. The menus and entertainment are repeated.

They try to alternate the guest entertainers on alternate weeks to break thing up but the production shows are the same as are the movies.

Sometimes the entertainers leave and new ones board.

We were on the Emerald a couple of weeks ago and the comedian left the ship in Belize and a new one got on.

We've done lots of B2Bs on Princess and have found the Production Shows are always the same. The "guest entertainers" are almost always different each sailing.

Menus are normally the same for both.

Keep in mind there is also entertainment in Crooner's, Wheelhouse, etc. so what we miss one week we can do the next. :D

Our b2b cruises have been short ones--three and four nights. For those, they vary the production shows, at least on the CB. The menus varied as well, but part of the reason was that we were on during holidays--for Christmas in 2013 and New Year's in 2014.

On the backstage tour of Ruby Princess in November we were told that they have an alternate version of the show "Once Upon a Dream" that they use when there are a lot of B2B pax onboard. How they communicate to everyone that "tonight's show is different than last Thursday's show of the same name" I do not know.

You will likely find the pianist in Crooners to be the same as well as the entertainers in wheelhouse to be the same, but the comedian and other guest entertainers may be different.

We were on the same ship just about two years apart and many of the production shows were the same. There were a couple that we didn't mind seeing again (British Invasion and Motor City).

On B2Bs we like doing the main things the 1st week and finding the out of the way entertainments the 2nd week.

There are some stores within walking distance at the Harbor shops behind the Embassy Suites on 17th St, if you dock at Pier#2. Sawgrass Mills etc are a cab ride away.

If you dock further in the port then if you leave the ship you will need a cab regardless.

You can get off the ship on turnaround day as soon as any passengers are allowed to disembark. This may be around 7 AM.

 

If you are still on the ship until around 10 PM, you will be required to meet for immigration.

 

If you do leave the ship in the morning, you cannot reboard until the ship has been cleared for reboarding by immigration.

 

Once the ship has been so cleared, you can leave the ship and return as often as you wish up until the time you are required to be back on board.

There are a whole bunch of shops, mostly to the west of the Walgreen's at the north cruise port entrance, along both sides of 17th. You might want to examine Google Maps for the specifics.

Sawgrass Mall is about 30 minutes and an expensive cab ride away. Much closer, and on the Sun Trolley route (http://www.suntrolley.com, $3 for a day pass or $1 per trip) that goes down 17th Street (especially convenient if you are docked at terminal #2), is the Galleria Mall http://www.galleriamall-fl.com/.

The stores on the north side of 17th, like the TJ Maxx and the Marshall's, you will often see the crew in. There is a luggage store there, too.

TJ Maxx just opened up in the past month or so in the Harbor Shops (south side of 17th Street). Ross Dress for Less is on the north side (I don't think there is a Marshall's along 17th; according to the store locator the nearest one is in Oakland Plaza, Hollywood).
