I like the Chilled Fruit Soups in the MDR

Escargot was OK, I've had better. I know there are a lot of people that love them tho!!

My DH favorite non alcoholic drink was a Peach Colada, they do make it with rum we just aren't big drinkers

I liked Peach and wild berry? or triple berry? Colada again with or without rum

I love BBCs as well! Looking forward to one on the Allure next month :)

Please have one for me and have a wonderful time on allure!!!!

True confession: I order the Island Oasis banana colada mix on line and now make my own BBCs all year round...takes me right back to cruise attitude with the first sip.

Hi Everyone,

Going on my first RC cruise next month. What are your fav food items?

What's your fav alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks?

As far as food, pretty much anything from Chops. Haven't had a bad morsel yet. Maybe the atmosphere, but Johnny Rockets has a pretty tasty burger and fries as well. Drinks......nothing finer than a Miami Vice from the Sky Bar. Then pull up a deck chair, and sit right there and waste another day.:D

The chilled fruit soups in the MDR were so good. Every night was different and I enjoyed them all!

I had a new alcoholic drink in the Diamond Lounge called a kaparushka (spelling?) made with vodka and simple syrup. Can you just say: YUM!

One night in the MDR, my DH was just wanting a simple dessert - a brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. The waiter told us they did have those desserts --- on the children's menu! LOL Every night after that, he brought DH those two desserts along with any other dessert he might have ordered! LOL Somehow, all the desserts got eaten!

The Rosemary lamb shank in the MDR, to me, is the best meal ive had on any RC cruise. I love the duck, escargot, chilled fruit soups, savory bites too. The filet of beef is good in the MDR. Most desserts are just meh but I do like the Key Lime pie. I miss the Vidalia onion tart

Stay away from the MDR lasagna. Likely the worst meal I've had on any RC ship

The lamb is great!! The escargot is only good if it's very hot.
