Just got off HM on March 17th. Checker and Mohamed were suppose to be together in the SL. Mohamed just returned and Jeremias left for vacation on the day we boarded (03/10). For our sailing, Checker was moved into the DL and Elaine is with Mohamed now in the SL. Not sure how long this arrangement is going to last for. 

 

Mohamed and Elaine are amazing! This was my first time meeting both of them as we have only had Cheker and Jeremias in the past. Both are super friendly, personable, and went above and beyond. Elaine told me that use to be the concierge in the SL on Allure.

Spectrum of the Seas Update.

 

We are joining the inaugural sailing on Spectrum departing Barcelona on 18 April and I have received communications from the Diamond Concierge who is MARIA ALTAN (ex Anthem).  The two letter code for Spectrum is SC and the email address for the Diamond Concierge is SC_diamondconcierge@rccl.com.

 

Spectrum has a Gold Lounge and a Silver Lounge in the new Suite Enclave and there are 4 concierges allocated to these lounges.  They are Ellen, Silvia, Eli and Romana.  I only have their first names so based on the spreadsheet I’m thinking that they are Ellen Zhang from Quantum (that’s an obvious choice given Spectrum is Quantum class) Silvia Liandi (Voyager)?, Eliana Garcia (Radiance)? And Romina Gheorge (Ovation and Jewel).  Once we are on board and I get further updates for you.

 

Spectrum has a Gold Dining Room and Lounge on Deck 16 and a Silver Lounge on Deck 14 which are part of the new “Suite Enclave”.  Once Spectrum arrives in Shanghai these lounges will be exclusive to the suite guests who are cruising in suites.  Advice is that Pinnacle members will have access to the Gold Dining Room by reservation only and D Plus and Pinnacle will have access to the Silver Lounge.

 

Based on the deck plans, the Solarium is restricted for China Sailings, however advice is that guests (adults over 16 years of age)  will have access to the solarium during the 5 cruises as part of the Global Odyssey  series.

 

Also a temporary Diamond Lounge will be set up in the Golden Room/VIP Casino on Deck 4 adjacent to the Music Hall (same area as Quantum class ships) for the Global Odyssey cruises (the 5 cruises from Barcelona to Shanghai).

 

This information is accurate as per advice today and may change, so I will update again once we board the ship on 18 April.

I just got off Radiance in Sydney. Eliana Garcia is the Diamond Concierge. She told me she will stay with Radiance through the Alaska season.

I know, I heard from someone else that it is a different Eli. 

Does anyone know of a different concierge with the name of Eli or Romana.  I was advised by staff on board that the suite lounge staff are Ellen, Silvia, Eli and Romana?

Ricardo Mock is back on Anthem Concierge, after few month of being MIA.cruising on Mariner on Monday; I had Nadja on Navigator! It will be nice seeing her again.

Sheri - you have Romina on vacation from Ovation and from Jewel. She has not been a concierge on Ovation. She is a Jewel Concierge. Please fix on the spreadsheet. She will return to the Jewel from her vacation (when Jewel is in Europe - I asked her the date) and will go into the DL. (When concierges on Jewel return from vacation they go into the DL, then to the CL.)
