Real Upset With Last Carnival Cruise

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! On my last cruise aboard "Paradise", they had the nerve to present OUTSTANDING shows. I just couldn't believe it! How am I supposed to complain, when the shows are second to none, and the dancing and singing has me "knee slapping", and dancing in the aisles? :cool: Guess I'll just have to book another Carnival cruise, and see if my luck is any better,,,,,or worse,,,,,,,????

I almost didn't click on this post because I thought it would be filled of complaints on ridiculous things. Im so glad I did, thanks for the laughs! I can't wait to suffer on a cruise like you did ;-)

our last cruise........well let me just say how disappointed i am because basically, well everything was almost perfect. Each morning i got up extra early to get coffee so i could find a spot to watch the sun come up.....to my huge disappointment the sun rises were almost breathtaking as the sun rose over the edge of the ocean. Then i had to contend with the awesome warmth and peasant sunshine throughout the day.

 

One of my biggest disappointments was how awesome the steak and eggs were on the seaday brunch and then i tried the banana cream pie at brunch. I knew that a couple of our table mates said they didn't like the pie but i was furious when i ate it and liked it alot!

 

There was our room steward; he had the gall to keep our room extremely tidy and did an awesome job taking care of us....how rude is that!

 

Everywhere we went on the ship, no matter how hard we tried to find something to dislike or complain about.....the cruise employees had the nerve to speak kindly to us and treat us very good.

 

Our mdr table waiters were terrible; they took the time to remember our names, remember what we liked to drink, was quick to refill our drinks and even took very good care of us each night.......it was maddening.

 

This was almost a cruise from hell! I just don't know if i can bring myself to ever trust carnival again and i don't know if i will ever give them another opportunity to treat us sooo poorly again.......well okay, i will give them one more chance!!!!

I am glad you guys are enjoying my story about the worst cruise experience ever.........my wife and I love to cruise and always have a GREAT time. Are things always perfect, of course not but we make the best of things. We like to call the things we do "Our Adventures Together" like going miles from home with the doors off of the Jeep only for it to pour down rain, or try to go to a drive in movie an hour from home with no doors on the Jeep only for it to start raining hard just as the movie starts....yep we spent 30 to 40 minutes parked under an overpass in a rougher part of that town waiting the rain out with homeless people wondering what the heck we were doing in their yard.

 

Enjoy life as it is too short to not.....

I have to say I am ashamed that I am going to attend a vacation on a Carnival Cruise Ship and once again enjoy myself and Know I do not have to work, that I will be forced to relax and have fun, that my husband will also suffer this with me and if I don't thank my lucky stars that we are blessed to do so we should not be allowed to board !

Nope...almost isn't legit. Now if you had peed yourself, that would be legit. And I think Carnival, or Mr Heald... would owe you a free replacement cruise, with a complete new wardrobe to replace the outfit ruined by the comedian... :rolleyes:

Cute review. I read it to hear your gripes, and instead........that is how I feel on a cruise. pinch myself every morning, as I head up to eat GRITS and BACON and the TRIVIA and of course another meal in there somewhere, the casino, and more trivia, and some shopping, and some napping, and then more Food, and then casino, the SHOWS, then listening to great bands........

 

Just a chore to get through it all in day!

That stinks! What ship were you on so I can be sure to book ES and then be upset with myself for doing so! Lol

 

Ive been seeing this thread all week and had no desire to open since am a RCCL and NCL cruiser but giving Breeze Spa Balcony a try emd of January. So upset I opened and had to read your disgust!! :)
