Sailed on the Jewel in July 2016 with this crew. They are awesome. Capt. Pella, HD Steven, and Concierge Bruno went above and beyond. The Capt was everywhere and very approachable. KitKat is a hoot. She is married to another crew member that was on the Jewel as well. I believe he was a bartender. Sorry I cannot remember his name, but I do remember that he was great.

According to the Concierge Desk, at least on the Feb 4th Cruise, Adrian Bica will be the Concierge.

 

One of the butlers (supposedly ours) will be Mansur Hasdinil.

 

I have never met/cruised with either, so am looking forward to meeting, and cruising with, them.

 

I had Adrian on the Epic several years ago. Great service

Not necessarily. Officers time schedules vary so I would fully expect some of those to be different. If you check back in March, you should get a more accurate for your sailing list.

Is CD Pedro Serra on the epic the same Pedro who was CD on the Star back in 2012? He was one of our faves.

 

 

 

CD Philly Joel is on the Sky right now. He may be on the Pearl later this year.

 

 

I would wager it is. He has been around. I have cruised with Pedro as CD on the Dawn and the Sun. He is my favorite.

 

So pleased as I am on Epic in 2 weeks.

Love the Equinox. But, to stay on topic, does anybody know any of the current officers on the Sun? I assume Brian Walters is still the HD, but haven't heard about any other positions.

 

Sorry but you assumed incorrectly. Rumi Khatao is currently Hotel Director on the Sun as Brian Walters is on vacation as is Mihaela Mocan. I have no other info of officers on the Sun.

Late last year we met Mr. Kivanc Ucar - the F&B Director on the Escape. Kivanc was working closely with Martin I. since he was a new hire to NCL. Since we are cruising on the Escape again on 4/01 I was wondering if he was still on board. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you...

Kivanc is an amazing Officer and we too met him on The Escape. I know Juno will be on board Escape for our March sailing, and I was hoping Kivanc was to be as well. We had the good fortune of meeting his absolutely gorgeous wife while we sailed and truly enjoyed his professionalism and hospitality.
