Ashley Madison Leak - Live from Escape 5/27

Recommended Posts

You walk up the gangway, go down one deck and straight to Headliners. Headliners is toward the back of the ship.

HTH

So we board on Deck 7 & go down to Deck 6 across from Le Bistro by the staircase? We were on her in December so I'm trying to remember!

Thanks so much, you've helped us tremendously for our escape cruises in September. We now know where we're going in 3 ports, if we ever make it off the ship with the bars and late nights.

Thanks for the review Rick, it was truly epic! I saw on your "you'll be leaving soon" newsletter that they now require non-us citizens to undergo a full immigration procedure in the Miami port. Is this a new policy? On my Escape cruise in April earlier this year, non-us citizens could disembark whenever they pleased and only had the partial check... Too bad if they changed the policy again... means less sleep and less time on the ship the last day ☹️

I was on the Escape the week before Rick and I'm an Irish citizen. I picked the very latest disembarkation time and went through immigration control the same as what looked like pretty much everyone else. Ireland is an ESTA country so I'd expect anyone from such a country to get similar treatment, however I was also flying out the day I was disembarking. If you are staying in the country for a time after leaving the ship then that has different customs implications.

The different departure guidelines might be based on the itinerary. We recently cruised a similar itinerary on RCCL Liberty of the Seas and the cruise director explained that as a result of the countries visited and that they did not have relationships with the US, that the return thru immigration was much more complicated than a 'typical' Caribbean cruise to friendly/partner nations.

Although related to one of those "other" lines, I did want to share the latest Vlog from my best bud and #OOTD mastermind, @Chasep17 ! There might be even be a CruiseLifeRick cameo.

I think this latest Vlog may be my fave!!

Awesome! Appreciate the feedback!

I liked the height of the camera (like along the railings/kinda lower down). It provided an interesting and different perspective.

On another note, we're practically neighbors (Stoneybrook)! What a crazy small world it is!

Wow! Really small! 2 of the people in the videos live in Stonybrook. We're not far away either (St. James).

Again, thanks for your kind words!

My son loves to dance. Is the glow party adults only or can older kids join too?

kids are always welcome despite what others stated, I've been 6 times on the BA and 1 on the GA and 1 on ES and I always go to the the Glow party and I've never seen a kid turned away because is is not +18 in any of those ships. the confusion comes because Spice H20 is +18 during the day but not the case after 7 pm. There is always many kids and teens at the party, for me, that is what makes the party great, becomes a family party where parents can have fun together with their kids.

I'm going to have disagree a bit here, after midnight they were going around and checking for underage passengers and asking them to leave.

Have to concur with this statement. Been to it twice on the Escape and later in the evening between 11 and 12 they were weeding out the youngsters. The same occurs at Howl at the Moon, but it's just noted by the musicians that it's adult oriented late in the evening and there is no actual "carding".
