Some nifty wristbands and a big iPhone shadow for our 70's disco music trivia win.

Wonder if I should keep copies of your answers in case they recycle the Trivia games. My supply of zipper pulls and pens is dwindling. Have you run across the Northstar shopping bags yet.

If you can catch it, there's actually a poutine food truck in the DC/Baltimore area. Stops by the office park where I work occasionally. Classic poutine with big chunks of hardwood smoked bacon... drool.

Urban Poutine? I've been looking for that truck, but it hasn't stopped near my office yet. One day..soon.

Just look at this old boat.

This ship is so disgusting and decrepit that not even Pullmantur wants it. And Pullmantur will take anything that stills floats after muster. Word in the Windjammer is that after this sailing the “Grand Door” is going straight to artificial reef status at the mouth of the Patapsco River.

hmmmmm a davit issue ~ hard to believe.......guess they really inspect them now.......who knew......

back in January we were delayed several hours departing Charleston, SC due to lifeboat #5 taking a "splash:"

twas 1st cruise for Capt. Thor relieving Capt. Ante....:loudcry:

all was fine ~ ship being minus the weight of a lifeboat sailed at record speed to Cape Canaveral...

i often search Ebay for the auction of ill-fated salvaged lifeboat #5.....:(:D

Helllllllllllllllllllllllll no!

There's an entire Roll Call of people that would do some not very nice things to every Royal Caribbean if they pulled that carp on us Thursday.

Haha. If I remember correctly, you two were battling in my Grandeur review last year too.

We may have to bring in a Steelers fan to mediate.

Just don't insert us (Steelers fans)into mediating with any Pats fan!! [emoji23]

Thanks for the quick reply if you see him again tell him Scott needs Tuaca & Coors Lights for our upcoming cruises and for him to answer Kara's email 👍

Enjoy your cruise and the peeps aboard Grandeur 🍻

Tim, what time did you leave the Pickled Onion and did you have difficulty getting a taxi?

We left shortly after midnight I think. There were a few taxis lined up in front.

It took about 20-25 minutes to get back to the ship. It cost about $58 which included the 25% after midnight surcharge.

great Live Report.....much appreciated :)

been on Grandeur many times with what seemed a revolving-door crew and have 2 upcoming 2017 cruises August & November so few questions if i may...

see a pattern above ~ yes my main focus on a cruise is (good eats /good booze/ cha ching $$$$ in the casino/ and recovering from my hangover in the lounges in the morning and starting the whole process over again each evening with happy hour in those same lounges):cool::D

BTW few years ago at Atlantis a casino pit boss told us of a group of manly men that entered the casino strutting their ALF's along with women bathing cover-ups and called their ALF's as (cock socks)....:eek:LMAO

cheers atcha & TIA for any info you can provide on the ever changing crew...

Scott

I can tell you I seen Bo the casino manager on the Empress in march.

Also I talked to Daryl the assistant bar manager, when he signed off and went on vacation at the end of May. He said Bipel was going on vacation also. And I believe Melvin is still there, he was as of May.

I also talked to Francis he was onboard in the diamond lounge.

I booked a month on that ship and wanted to make sure my regular people were going to be there. [emoji3]

Wow this is new. The Windjammer is having a one-night-only, $49 all-you-can-eat special tomorrow night. Seems too good to be true. We'll probably end up there. You would have to be a real idiot to not take advantage of that deal.
