LIVE from GRANDEUR of the Seas - July 8, 2017

Trivia Time. Guess the Royal Caribbean ship in the photo below. 37 zipper pulls to the first person that sends me a private message on Cruise Critic with the correct answer. No cheating.

Bonus points if you can figure out how to send a private message on Cruise Critic.

I'm coming to the thread late, I am going to assume you already have given the answer. can I assume this is one of those stock photos you get for free as part of your photo package and that like other cases, this is not Granduer, but Royal photoshopped in the name hoping nobody would notice? I've never been on an Vision class, so I am going to guess this is actually the stretched Enchantment?

Note to self: when in a Baltimore sports bar do not ask the bartender to put the Yankees game on one of the TVs.

I usually ask, "I have to pee, can you point me to Art Modell's grave?"

Growing up in Baltimore, I ate fries and gravy. It was good. I order that other places and people find it odd.

Oh good! I can get some when I'm there to head out on the Grandeur in Sept! :D

Thanks Carol!

Try asking for them in Texas...then look at ya like you have 3 heads! Love gravy fries....life would not be the same without them!!!

If you can catch it, there's actually a poutine food truck in the DC/Baltimore area. Stops by the office park where I work occasionally. Classic poutine with big chunks of hardwood smoked bacon... drool.

This is not the Enchantment. Doesn't have the "fan tail" or whatever you call it on the section that was stretched, on the track deck. This sure looks like the Grandeur to me.

Um, yeah, Tim?????

Haha. If I remember correctly, you two were battling in my Grandeur review last year too.

We may have to bring in a Steelers fan to mediate.

I just had a nice conversation at the Pool Bar with a gentleman from Kentucky. We gabbed for days about cruising, life, women, death, women & death and of course sports. Every time he mentioned this ship, it sounded like he was saying “Grand Door of the Seas”. And it became more and more noticeable each time. I don’t have anything else to add here. Just thought I would mention it.

Always looking for the trick question. I went to book Enchantment so I can say I've been on the class, but they moved her out of PC.

great Live Report.....much appreciated :)

been on Grandeur many times with what seemed a revolving-door crew and have 2 upcoming 2017 cruises August & November so few questions if i may...

is "Bo" still Casino Host and will he be aboard for my 8/24 sailing ?

is "Beeple" still Asst. Bar Mgr. and will he aboard for my 8/24 sailing ?

is "Melvin" still Food & Beverage Mgr. and will he aboard for my 8/24 sailing ?

is "Roshman" still MTD Maitre D' and will he be aboard for my 8/24 sailing ?

is "Francis Callimag" Suite or Diamond Lounge concierge and will he be aboard for my 8/24 sailing ?

see a pattern above ~ yes my main focus on a cruise is (good eats /good booze/ cha ching $$$$ in the casino/ and recovering from my hangover in the lounges in the morning and starting the whole process over again each evening with happy hour in those same lounges):cool::D

BTW few years ago at Atlantis a casino pit boss told us of a group of manly men that entered the casino strutting their ALF's along with women bathing cover-ups and called their ALF's as (cock socks)....:eek:LMAO

cheers atcha & TIA for any info you can provide on the ever changing crew...

With warm temps. an ALF could not keep a Frozen Boner from thawing... ( maybe I should cut my myself off from more wine...)
So in my job, we sometimes have to recommend that a patient go to an assisted living facility, or an ALF. I will never be able to use those initials again without think of this.
