Ha- you got me good on the pool thing! I had a momentary lapse about just whose review I was reading. Next time I'll know better.

What type of stateroom do you have? I have stayed in a D1 balcony, JS, and RFS on Grandeur. Never in a Grand Suite. Would love to see some post dry dock pics of your room when you have time.

 

Don't know if you have sailed from Baltimore before. If not, don't miss sailing under the Key Bridge (about 45 minutes after cast off) and Chesapeake Bay Bridge (about 90 minutes after cast off).

I never understood why some people are afraid to post their stateroom number in their review. Do they leave their door unlocked with stacks of Benjamins, credit cards, passports, piles of gold and DNA samples all over the bed? I don't get it. Anyway, here's ours one more time:

Due to Virginia law, the casino will not open for the 1st time this trip until day 3 at 2:40 AM and will close for good at 4:10 AM. 90 minutes should give you plenty of time to deplete your precious brats' inheritance.

Well, they have changed the casino hours again. We cruised Grandeur in late March. In previous years the casino opened after dinner on day 1. In March it opened in the morning on day 2. Now day 3!

 

Not sure if I can stand a whole night and a whole day without going to the casino .

I think this is another Yorkvillain joke. Day 3 puts the ship in Bermuda -- and the casino is closed until the evening.

On our last trip the casino was open the am of day 2 and closed around 8 pm on the last evening. Katherine
