Cruzerzz Posted October 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2017 (edited) Hi everyone. I am going on my first cruise in January and it’s a Royal Caribbean Freedom of the seas ship. I’m not really sure what to expect from formal night, but I definitely don’t want to look dumb in something that isn’t appropriate for the occasion. The picture was too large to put as an attachment, so here is the link to the picture of the dress. https://cdn1.thehunt.com/app/public/system/note_images/12394396/note_view/e0059d5dd72d6b554b1f1b16c52c183d.jpeg Edited October 6, 2017 by Cruzerzz

JimAOk1945 Posted October 6, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 6, 2017 It's OK. I also seen many women in floor length gowns. My wife always wears floor length but that's her preference. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app

DirtyDawg Posted October 7, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 7, 2017 If you're a 6'7" 400-pound hairy guy that dress may not be appropriate for formal night. :D
NMLady Posted October 7, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 7, 2017 If you're a 6'7" 400-pound hairy guy that dress may not be appropriate for formal night. :D True for a woman too! We chubby women shouldn't wear form- fitting dresses. To OP -- if you have the figure for it, that is a fine dress for formal night!

FloriDan Posted October 7, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Only appropriate if you want to be the shimmering star of the whole night! Great dress. If it makes you feel great, I say go for it and have fun with it! (y)

We do our "Joan & Melissa" and it's rare we see pax in similar dresses that look like the model.
