Would this dress be appropriate for formal night?

Hi everyone. I am going on my first cruise in January and it’s a Royal Caribbean Freedom of the seas ship. I’m not really sure what to expect from formal night, but I definitely don’t want to look dumb in something that isn’t appropriate for the occasion. I see dresses like that on cruises all the time, formal night and otherwise.

It's OK. I also seen many women in floor length gowns. My wife always wears floor length but that's her preference.

Same with us. And we share NMLady's opinion.

We do our "Joan & Melissa" and it's rare we see pax in similar dresses that look like the model. :rolleyes:
