cruisekitty22 Posted October 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2017 Did they do away with the "Ultimate Drink Package all together? I plan to go on the Sun to the Bahamas 4 nights and I don't see any drink package offered at all! Do we just buy drinks ala carte now?
sergeant655 Posted October 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2017 I believe the sun will offer free open bar like the Sky currently does on her short Bahamas and Cuba cruises . It was so popular NCL decided the sun needed to be the second ship to offer this So you will get the ultimate beverage package included in your fare when you book. RoseyNan Posted November 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2017 We were told by our NCL rep that our cruise on the Sun will be free alcohol. It is included in the fare for the cruise. there is no separate package to buy. Yeah!!
stormynow Posted February 26, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Think only the Cuba cruise's are all inclusive alcohol. Booked on a 4 day Bahamas 3/5/18 and have the drink pkg.
suzyStAug Posted March 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2018 on the itineraries where they include the alcohol (not the pkg) - what about tipping the bartenders? Does anyone have any insight on how that works? If I need to bring extra cash I want to account for that!
Treasure Posted March 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2018 Can anyone tell me if the bartenders on NCL make Bloody Caesar. We are going on a 18 day Panama Canal cruise in April and was wondering if I would be able to get my favorite drink. It is a very popular drink with Canadians. It is very different from a Bloody Mary Thanks Barb
UNIrd Posted March 8, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2018 The all-inclusive on the Sun does not start until the 3-/4-day Bahamas & Cuba sailings in May.

However it is help at times to tip your favorite bartender. They are will remember you and take good care to serve you quickly. They work very hard. bobsfamily Posted March 22, 2018 #14 Share Posted March 22, 2018 No receipts and no need to tip extra in cash unless you want too. I was on the same ship about a year apart and not only did the bartender remember me but the pours were always generous. Tipped him several times for great service. Several people were amazed when he called me by name the first drink (before paying with card).
