Technically I haven’t received it yet, but the booking appeared about a week ago under my account on the Royal Caribbean website.  So I’ve been able to access everything like a regular cruise, enter my check-in info, print my boarding pass, book spa/restaurants/drink packages, etc.

oh o thanks cause i was starting to get worried thinking i was the only one who havent received it yet...did you book through a third party or through the DWC website?  it seems they are selling off a whole bunch of unsold cabins elsewhere because there was a bunch of ppl on shipmate who wasnt aware of what kind of cruise it was

I booked it 3rd party, but the description was very precise “adult only spring break party cruise”.  That pretty much says it all! Lol.

The videos look great. They are adding 200 tons of material to the ship. Looks like most of that weight is going on top. I am not a naval architect but I can't help to wonder if that effects the ships stability in the water. Worst case I guess would be loss of power in high winds and rough seas. Sorry but I always try to protect against worst case so I can't help but wonder.

On a brighter note, the ship does look amazing. I wonder what will be added in the sports bar? I hope they have darts, a pool table, bowling.... some fun activities. Something unique so that it isn't just another place to drink.

Great question. From previous pieces written on this topic, Royal ships (and likely most others) are bottom heavy...offsetting any issues.

So based on the longer press video around 3:21, they show What should be new deck stateroom 1102 or 1104 based on the mast location. View out the door of the room. Can’t wait to see the size of my 1108 balcony!

I'm thinking 1102 given the position of the mast.  I have this booked next summer.   Not sure how I feel about it.  With no overhang the deck 12 panoramic cabins will have views of the entire balcony.  With the high side walls it's a bit of a tunnel.  Then there is the glass partition.

wish they had decided to sail a shorter sailing instead of cancelling the 24th.  Leave on the 26th, go down to Labadee, and come back on the 1st as scheduled.  Adjusted our payments accordingly.  A short cruise would have been better than no cruise at all.

Agreed but...  that ship has sailed.

When the ship arrives in Miami on Monday we have read it will leave again for a pre-passenger employee test cruise prior to the March 1st sailing.

Wonder if the revitalized Navigator of the Seas (with the new Voom WIFI) will be added to the new Royal app list.

The new app supports Navigator now.

As far as the "new Voom wi-fi" - I asked the Voom "specialist" on board in December if Navigator will get O3b.  He didn't really answer the question like he didn't know, or didn't know what I was referring to.  Adventure and Mariner still have geosynchronous Voom so I have no expectations with respect to a Voom upgrade on Navigator but it will be one of the first things I check out on 3/1.

Navigator support in the app was pulled the day after it was added - I assume they'll add it back soon.

Biker, who thinks RCI has abandoned all O3B upgrade plans on existing ships.

Was pulled that night then 2 hours later added back.  Since then it's come and gone a few times.  I've been accessing it on the app still.

All good to know...figured since Navigator is getting a couple of new things and first in its class to get them...thought that it might be a candidate for the new app activation...guess we may learn more in the next month or so as the refurb is done and people report back onboard.

I've looked at the app just about every day since someone posted it being available and have yet to see it available - maybe some who added it might still have access.

Watching the videos gives a new appreciation as to how much work goes into revitalizing a ship. Amazing they can get it done in the allotted time.

Looks impressive. Too bad it's only doing short sailings.

I’m so happy I’m on one of the few 9 day abc sailing so we can really take advantage of all the new upgrades!!!

Not a fan on that balcony at all. It may be big but that is one damn ugly tunnel vision balcony.

Itineraries change. In the mean time...a 4 day cruise with 2 beachy stops is actually welcome by plenty of folks.  We're booked pretty far ahead...and the cabins are filling up fast...so apparently there's a "market" for those cruises on nice ships.
