Boatmans Lady Posted January 15, 2018 #79 Share Posted January 15, 2018 So very sorry to hear the tragic news about your daughter-in-laws best friend. My heart and sympathies go out to your daughter-in-law and her best friends family. Loving your photo's and reports, it is just like we are on the ship with you. Rare crusin7 Posted January 15, 2018 Author #80 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Thank you Boatmans Lady. I think I'm still in shock. We knew 4 of the 20 that were killed. We were very close to 2 of them. It's horrific. The highlight of today was a local dance group performed. Hulau Hulu Olana . They were spectacular. There was a 4-5 year old that stole the show. Rare crusin7 Posted January 15, 2018 Author #81 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Oops sorry 1 picture went twice. We had dinner in Compass Rose. We both started with the Caesar salad. Jim asked for extra anchovies. I forgot to take a picture of mine. It was good but had too much parmesan cheese. These blue lights are killing me. We both had a lobster tail. It was excellent. Dessert was a Kaluha chocolate soufflé. Deelish Oh it came with caramel sauce! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Rare RachelG Posted January 16, 2018 #96 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Great pics. Is the parrot still at the tropical botanical gardens? A long time ago, probably 20 years as my youngest son was 7 then, we were walking through, and this voice said “Hey, kid”. Looked around, couldn’t see anyone. Voice repeated “Hey, kid, over here.” It was a parrot.
Rare crusin7 Posted January 16, 2018 Author #97 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Hi Rachel. We saw these birds in a cage. There were 3 of them. They didn't speak to us. We tried to get them to talk. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Rare crusin7 Posted January 16, 2018 Author #98 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Ha Ha I just read what I wrote. I sound like a lunatic! We were saying "Hello. Can you talk?" Maybe I'm making it worse. We are not bird whisperers! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
