...For our Cozumel day we did Nachicocom (more to come) and I went in about knee deep to see how warm/cold the water was for about 3-4 minutes - in that time I got stung by a Jelly Fish. They had no vinegar or anything for a sting (odd since they had a kitchen) - the lady asked if I wanted to go to the hospital - I was like - no - just an annoying sting.

Here is this morning about 50 hours later and it still hurts.

You do realize there is another option that is a effective treatment (not speaking from personal experience) if there isn't anything else?:D;)

Urine is an old wives tail - and if didn’t hurt that bad.

Fortunately just a small jelly fish.

Exactly my thought when I posted. I wasn't trying to be serious. I guess my attempt at being witty and clever along with the emoji symbols didn't come across as funny as it did in my own mind.

Or maybe I just need my afternoon coffee.:D

I know today is your last day and I've enjoyed this post so much that I am having cruise withdraws...you would think I was on board! But I wanted to thank you for taking the time to post each day. I am so pumped for my March 31st embarkation on the Equinox. Safe travels back to Chicago.

I second Georgia_Peaches comments! It has been wonderful following along! We board Equinox on 2/10 and it's going to be a long week waiting for that now after all the excitement of your posts!

I agree with the others, and also think you deserve some kind of medal for putting up, with grace, with all the "can you take a picture of this?" and "how much is that?" sort of questions. I know it took a lot of time and effort to do what you did.

Me Three! I don't usually read trip reports but with this being done while you were on board, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us and I will miss coming home from work to see what you were up to each day. Safe travels home tomorrow.

Do you have to have a spa pass to get to the aqua spa cafe?

No, it's available for everyone. With Aqua cabin category, the spa and the Aqua Spa Cafe, it can be quite confusing, but the Cafe has nothing to do with the other two. Go and enjoy it! :)

The grilled chicken/salmon is gone from the Spa Cafe menu, unfortunately. It was so good. We were told in October that it is up to the hotel director. Obviously he doesn't want it there. They had lots of little cold plates that were good but we never went back after the first time. This used to be our go to place on embarkation day.

Thank you clj for all your great pictures and comments. Safe journey home.

Thank you again for such a great informative review. Do you recall if they had anything like the Newlywed or Not so Newlywed game or something similar? I do't think I saw anything like that in the Today's that you posted.

Not that I recall - but I could has missed it.

Thank you for the details about your cruise aboard the Equinox. We are traveling on February 17...it will be our first cruise. You gave us an inside look at what to anticipate. We also are staying in the concierge class...we are excited about our upcoming cruise. Your photos of the food are making our mouths water.

Many thanks for your post and all the photos! Love your humor about Illinois...I am a "Central Illinois farmboy" that has become cityfied in Phoenix, AZ. I totally get your humor! Looks like the weather did not cooperate entirely, but glad you enjoyed your cruise!
