fourcruisin Posted February 12, 2018 #176 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Toilet paper for use in ports. Funny story. I always pack a couple of "travel size" rolls just in case. My dh was making fun of me and told me it was a waste of money and space. Well, during one of our excursions in Belize, dh needed to use the porta potti. He went in and came right back out and said "where is the tp you bought." I should have handed him a leaf but I gave him the Charmin instead. lol He's never made fun of my packing again.
beachbum6264 Posted February 12, 2018 #177 Share Posted February 12, 2018 I'm bringing a good attitude. We don't sweat the small things. I've had to shake my head more than once listening to people complain about tiny things. If it's something that will make a difference in 6 months I'll worry about it. If not, who cares, party on! siestakeys04 Posted February 12, 2018 #179 Share Posted February 12, 2018 I am bringing a Yankee Candle flat scent hanger that you would normally put in a car. I put one in the bathroom and in the room. They are not messy and I just toss out once the cruise is over.
nutterbutter818 Posted February 12, 2018 #180 Share Posted February 12, 2018 I always take a vacation vault to lock up my stuff when we are at the beach or on an excursion where we won't have our stuff on us. Lock your phone, key card, etc in there and attach it to a table or something that is large and not easily moved. I got a small one on Amazon for $35 and it uses combination or a key. Attach the key to your lanyard if you prefer key or combination.

missyflov Posted February 13, 2018 #188 Share Posted February 13, 2018 A snake. But it IS an emotional support snake. Just kidding. I'm bringing a lightweight binder with plastic sleeves to slip little bits of papers and receipts for each day. I started doing this for the trip after my mom got sick and I needed to itemize stuff for the travel insurance reimbursement. I also can get a good gauge of my daily spending and secure mementos for my travel journal. But a snake would be cool too.

beshears Posted February 13, 2018 #192 Share Posted February 13, 2018 A beach bag that my son/d-i-l bought me for Christmas. The neat part about it, the bottom part is zippered up, and it will keep items cold (insulated) for quite a while.:)
nealstuber Posted February 13, 2018 #193 Share Posted February 13, 2018 We take disposable press and seal containers of various sizes. Sometimes we’ll take some cheese to enjoy with our wine on the balcony, other times I’ll bring DW breakfast in bed, and with the advent of per delivery room services charges, if we do order room service, we’ll usually double up and stick a snack in the fridge. Way easier then trying to balance plates or bowls when carrying through the halls or in the mini fridge. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
