wow what a gorgeous room!

 

 

 

I know, right? It’s freakin huge! Bigger than same category on Escape, seems like twice as much space between bed and desk area. I love it! There are only 6 of these on the whole ship! Feeling spoiled already!

Meanwhile I’ve got the Haven courtyard to myself!

Had lunch at Margaritaville with a “hot hot hot” margarita. Mike had a cheeseburger; I had grilled blackened shrimp salad. (Today Margaritaville is free for Haven guests for lunch)

I also had conch fritters forgot to take pic, they were very temp hot and were ok, but not the best I’ve had on NCL

Also Yad-Z bartender was at Margaritaville, he will be there during day and at Cavern club (Beatles venue) at night.

Going back to room now Mike took a nap and I need to set up unlimited internet after 2:00 pm in room.

Also according to concierge there is NO iconcierge on this ship yet. Meaning we have to communicate the old fashioned way or maybe do “Whats ap?” Haven’t figured that out yet.

Also set up all shows, based on our dining that I had booked about 90 days before today, and booked the behind scenes tour for platinum guests tomorrow before meet and greet. Tomorrow will be busy!

Have a wonderful cruise!!! Just have to say my husband and I have similar demographics, been married 41 yrs, became Platinum a couple of cruises ago, but live in Las Vegas and you are right actually once you go NCL suite you cannot go back ;p We were booked in a Mini Suite for our September Bliss and I just could not do it so bumped myself up for the H5 and paid final today. I am totally going to enjoy your LIVE from!!

Very good info on the fact that Haven can go to Margaritaville for Lunch, that makes for a nice 2nd option.

Just got off this morning! We loved The Cavern Club! The band was really good, and during some of the songs, people got up and danced.

Last night when they finished their second set, the crowd chanted "One more song" and they gave us "Hey Jude." So much fun.

Get there early. The venue is small and fills up fast.

Ok so we had the mandatory muster drill from ~3:00-4:00. Our station was in Cagneys

Next was sail away party. I picked up my souvenir pin from Tina and my souvenir rubber bracelet from Ed. Chocolate Cowboy was at outdoor sugarcane bar mixing up awesome Mojitos! It was very well attended by our cruise critic group. Nice chatting with many folks from around the country and from England too. I know that there were Aussies there too, but didn’t bump into those folks yet.

We had dinner at the Haven.

Risotto with shrimp, it was delicious:

Mike had shrimp cocktail:

Mike had prime rib:

And I had surf and turf: (which was shrimp and a filet, instead of lobster)

Very yummy.

I had Sauvignon Blanc and we both had NCLs signature Red blend North/South. We both like that red wine by the glass.

So we had the outdoor seating of the Haven restaurant all by ourselves for a while. I took many pictures. We actually had our real sail away while we were eating, the Bliss had a little bit of a late start but no complaints. It was a perfect evening weather wise, I have many pictures from the Haven restaurant outdoor area.
