Rare KKB Posted December 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2018 So the cruise we are taking over New Years with our children (18-23) is their Xmas present. But we still do stockings so I would like to do do some stocking stuffers they could use on the cruise. I have gotten a card game (Dutch blitz) & a dice game (tenszi), so that covers 2/3 kids. I'd like another card game. We have Cards Against Humanity already. Other ideas? THANKS! (figured others might like ideas, too!)

payitforward Posted December 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2018 Not "game related," but maybe some nice luggage straps/tags/locks. I love my heavy duty magnet hooks to hang things in the cabin. For the females, a "fashion emergency kit." Mine has fashion tape, Downy wrinkle release, Tide stain stick, sewing kit, safety pins, Velcro tabs and Woolite.

Upinthehills Posted December 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2018 Exploding Kittens! We always take it on trips. My kids and all of the nieces and nephews (range 20 - 31) absolutely love it. Depending on where you're going, maybe some of those bug off wipes and sunscreen.

fleeflicker Posted December 16, 2018 #12 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Can you recommend some magnet hooks? Never thought of that.
Cyn874 Posted December 16, 2018 #13 Share Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) I'm doing something similar for my parents for our upcoming cruise this spring. I recommend this really cool backpack that folds up so small you can put it in your pocket, but it expands to a full size backpack. Great for excursions. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DNGEHP6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edited December 16, 2018 by Cyn874

KelJ Posted December 16, 2018 #16 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Last Christmas we took our family on the Anthem, and I gave everyone a nautical gift bag containing chapstick, germ gel, Boca clips, lanyards, luggage tags, little fans that connect to a cell phone, foil packets of sun screen, candy, battery-operated tea lights (nice as a nightlight or for use on the balcony table), plus a note telling them they each had OBC. ptod Posted December 16, 2018 #17 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Fluxx is a great card game. There are lots of iterations of the game ie: zombies, Dr. Who, Monty Python, Space. Easiest to start with the original deck. Learn to play in 3 minutes, master the game in 5. Game play starts with "Draw 1 card, Play 1 card" and the rules can change at any time - or as we say when playing "All hell breaks loose!"

These are TINY and hold ANYthing you may want to hang! I like to put them on the ceiling near the air vent... put a shirt or swimsuit on a hanger and it dries well, even in the humid Caribbean air! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0787Q54M1

Surfguyxxx Posted December 16, 2018 #20 Share Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) They sell cruise ship ornaments in the gift shop. I usually write the ship's name on the bottom along with the date for a "cheery" reminder. Small enough to fit into your stockings.
