We will be joining you in 8064 10 days later.  I really wanted 6088 but my T/A couldn't snag it.  I'm happy though that we got an aft OS.  Certainly pricey, but this will be a retirement present to myself.  After what will be 39 years doing what I do, I will be retired towards the end of March next year.....

Bob

Congratulations on your retirement. Good choice for a celebration sailing.  Normally we book a mini, but my sister-law-joined us last November and December so we got 7114, the half bath really worked out well for her. We all really loved it, first full suite ever. We hope she can join us this time as well, they have an excellent rate for the third guest, she says she is "thinking"---"thinking". She lost her husband a couple of years back so that made quite an enjoyable trip for her. This type voyage with Club Class and all is super.  Days of yore cruising.

Not certain how many more cruises we have left in us, getting long in the old tooth, hard to believe, pulled the pin on working regularly 24 years ago now.

Thanks to OP Cruise Junky and others who alerted us early in April to these forthcoming French Polynesia itineraries.  As a result, our TA was able to get, around 12:15 EDT today, one of our preferred cabins for the 15 Oct. and 25 Oct. B2B roundtrip Papeete sailings.  It is the same itinerary as we were on during Feb. 2011 on the (former) small Royal Princess

In the meantime, we hope that the ship is not sold or transferred.  After we had booked our Feb. 2011 FP cruise on the former Royal Pr. (R8; sister ship to Pacific Pr., R3), it was announced that she (R8) would be transferred to P & O shortly after our Feb. 2011 cruise.  Several subsequent Royal Pr. sailings were cancelled and the ship's last sailing for Princess was, if I recall correctly, to Fort Lauderdale, followed by a drydock in the Bahamas prior to renaming as P & O's Adonia (now Azamara Pursuit).  We hope that something similar does not happen before the autumn 2020 FP cruises!

Well I can’t even access the booking as not showing for me to book on website. I didn’t get the email and Princess office for Australia doesn’t open up until 9 am despite being Elite. I hope they have keep some cabins offline for the Australian market.

That's a lot for some real estate. That price would compare to a Conceirge suite on Regent at 353 sq ft (so definitely smaller) but includes shore excursions, specialty dining, all drinks, in suite mini bar with 1 litre bottles and wifi.

Try calling them instead. It was on my website either, but when I called, cabins were available but they had technical problems.

While on hold with Princess, my TA called me back (because she had trouble booking my 2nd voyage too) and said that she got me my two Vista Suites.

She sure is!!!

Got us our first choice too!

(Lucky for all of us that we had different first choices ! 😉)

I just remembered another reason I wanted 10 and 25 , rather than 35 - I don't know if they'll offer Sip and Sail for the 35. They tend not to do it on longer cruises. Oh well ..............

We're booked for the season!  The money is crazy, like Monopoly money at this point, but we can sort out the details later. My offer to DH to skip this entire cruising season to save up still stands (he is appalled at the thought!😉)  I'm glad that most have gotten exactly what they want.  We chose a midship OV on Deck 4 that I'm sure we've stayed in before.  Who's going to start the roll calls??  This is VERY exciting!

FANTASTIC for you!  We can only do a 10 day (Oct. 25) since we are still working.  Now if only Sammy Baker would come out of retirement and be the CD for these sailings....

At the prices all of us seem to be willing to pay for these cruises I don't see Princess selling her so quickly.

The prices give even more reason to pause when expressed in Canadian dollars!

Decided to splurge for this one.  This will be my last hurrah somewhat with the way I book cabins.  For the most part I have been very fortunate to have the ability to work overtime at work to help me to be able to book full suites.  After next year, we will still cruise, but I’ll have to change the way I book.  If we sail out of San Pedro, I will book a full suite.  If we have to fly anywhere far away, I’ll book a mini.  Reason being is that DW has a bad back and flying steerage is too painful for her.  So I end up having to book first/business class.....

To my great surprise, the old "CASINO" code still works and yielded some very nice savings.  For those who have received casino offers in the past, it is worth it to ask if it still applies to you as well.

We sailed on the Pacific on the cruise right before her refit in 2017.  I was told by several ship’s personnel that the Pacific wasn’t going anywhere for 5-7 years.....

When do bookings open up for us regular people?

I'm thinking of making it a 20 day Adventure next year and spend Halloweenie in Tahiti with my Sweetie

Should be open tomorrow for everyone to book!  And there should be plenty of availability - the 10 day segments don't seem to be selling as quickly as the segment from Hawaii or ones that go back to FLL.

Hi Joe.  I did look at it briefly but we are doing a 10 day Sea of Cortez on the Golden in May.  Too much money plus Holli wouldn’t want to leave Misha alone for that many days so close together.....

I just got off the phone with Princess. They put aside certain cabins for the Australian market so there is stuff available for us.

I haven't made a booking yet. As I wondering whether do do the Vancouver to Hawaii leg and then do 10 days.

It sounds like the Suites might be sold out tomorrow for us lowly Platinum members. Does anyone know the prices for a CC Mini-Suite on the 10 day sailings? My TA called and Princess couldn't give a price for anything. Thanks for any info so I can make back-up plans.
