Perfect Day at Coco Cay Cabanas - Review with photos

Recommended Posts

I am writing this while sitting in the Water Park Cabanas.  We are in the Thrill Waterpark Cabanas and will be in the Chill Island Cabanas Thursday.  Since this is a new service (since Perfect Day is newish) I wanted to post a review with photos.   Because I was dying to know what I purchased.  But wasn’t able to find it anywhere. 😂

Below is information on Thrill Waterpark Cabanas:

Cost:  We saw the cost for pre purchase fluctuate pretty significantly.  We ended up paying $299.

What does it include:

Tickets for up to six people to be admitted to the water park.

The cabana structure.

 Six towels.

Six bottles of water

cooler with ice

safe

cabinet

Cabana attendant

How does it work:

When you arrive on ship, you will receive a letter in your room requesting that you write the name and room number of all (up

to) six people on your cabana.   This must be returned to guest services by 8:00pm that day.   That letter also has your cabana assignment and a map to locate your cabana.

When you arrival to Perfect Day-  you go through the kiosk,  scanning your sea pass for admission to the park.  Find the hut (there are serveral) marked “Cabana Concierge” they will check you in and give you your bracelets.

The cabana’s are pretty nice,  overall.  They have curtains on 3 of 4 sides,  a safe,  a cooler with ice,  a storage cabinet significant seating.   They are positioned on a concrete slab. Which is nice because you can sort of keep sand off of things.

I will update more later,  as I am

using my phone 🙂

How loud is it there?  We passed on it because we were advised there was a lot of loud music.  We took the Chill Island cabana instead because it was very quiet..  The water park cabana was much less expensive. I like the fact that you have a safe, Chill Island didn't

No we didn’t.  We had Tawanaya and she was slow,  but very sweet.

Hopefully you get Henry at Chill Island.  We just had him on Friday. Very personable and good at his job. Not all the cabanas were sold out, but he was ready and near by when we needed something.

We are possibly booking in January - is there a cabana option away from the hubbub of the water park?  Maybe an oceanfront one?  Anywhere to look to determine cost/booking for that?

thanks!

Check the Cruise Planner for your sailing.  Costs vary from sailing to sailing.

Can  you give me an idea of pricing for Chill Island cabanas?

Is the refuel button to call the waiter? If so, that is really cool.

we paid $400 and it was as high as $1,300 when we were there. It varies. Book early and watch for price drops is the key. We took advantage of two price drops.

Hi-  I plan to include that in my review tomorrow, after we use it.   But it was $499.  Again,  the prices really fluctuate-  for our cruise alone,  it went up to $799 at one point.

can you show a better pic of your coke cups please?

Sure-  here you go.  These are NOT included in the cabana, and were part of the drink package.   We are just messy 🙂

Sorry about the weird(ish) pic,  everyone is still asleep in the cabin so lighting is weird :-)image.thumb.jpg.81cda6f62a6f727f377991c2d87c420c.jpg

Hi-  I included a map of all of the cabanas on the island.   I would check that out and it will give you an idea of where you may like to be.  There are several cabana options-  all with different prices,  depending on the cruise and the location of the cabana.

We have a water park cabana in April for $299.  Navigator is the only ship in port.

Should we be requesting a certain cabana in that area? Do they have numbers? Any thoughts on location of middle vs end of row, near the wave pool or slide area etc?
